前作『萃点』では、
土地や人、時間や記憶が交差する「場所」に
目を向けてきました。
今作『岡潔』では、
その交わりをもう一歩内側へ引き寄せ、
心そのものに目を向けています。
情緒や直感、気配のようなものを頼りに、
今なにを感じているかを手がかりに制作しました。
多変数のように影響し合いながら、
ひとつの情緒が、少しずつ姿をあらわしていく。
「わかろう」とする音楽ではなく、
すでに感じているものに気づくための音楽。
制作を続ける中で、僕たち自身が
そう気づいた作品でもあります。
ギターにTAKU(韻シスト)を迎え、
数学者、岡潔が語った「二つの心」。
そのあいだを行き来しながら
生まれた10曲がここに収められています。
ただ、自分の内側にある声に、
もう一度耳を澄ませるための時間になれば嬉しい。

In our previous work Suiten,
we focused on a “place”
where land, people, time, and memory intersect.
With Oka Kiyoshi,
that gaze moves one step inward,
toward the mind itself.
Guided by emotion, intuition, and subtle presence,
this album was created by following a simple question:
What are we feeling right now?
Like multivariable elements influencing one another,
a single emotional state slowly begins to take shape.
This is not music meant to be understood,
but music that helps you notice
what you are already feeling.
As the process continued,
we realized this ourselves.
With guitarist TAKU (In-Sist) joining on guitar,
and inspired by mathematician Kiyoshi Oka’s idea of
“two kinds of mind,”
these ten tracks were created
by moving back and forth between them.
If this album becomes a moment
to listen once more
to the voice within yourself,
that would be enough.
