Today, I ‘m ranking the best kiss scenes in BL history, based on my own opinion and bias, as a 30-year BL fan! Whether you’re thinking, “What, that scene!?” or you’ll agree and say, “I know what you mean!”, please tell us your favorite kiss in the comments . Now, let’s start with the 7th best kiss scene in BL history ! 7th place: “The Second Time is Always Better.” This work begins with editor Miyata (Hasegawa Shin) visiting university associate professor Iwanaga (Furuya Ryotoshi) for a job request . However, the person he meets is his first love from high school. Miyata has put his past love behind him and has lived a “reasonable” life, but after their reunion, everything, both in his work and in his personal life, is swallowed up by Iwanaga’s pace. It’s as if time, which had stopped, is starting to move again . This time, the scene that made it onto the list is the “Confession Battle Kiss” from episode 4, where Miyata reveals Iwanaga’s feelings one by one. 連発しちゃってます♪ English: In this scene, Miyata approaches Iwanaga step by step, making sure he’s sure of himself, and when Iwanaga confesses his feelings to him , saying, “Let’s try making love with me first,” he kisses him himself . I definitely recommend watching the video to see this scene. Personally, I loved the way Furuya, who plays the senior, gently answers him in his deep voice . Next up in 6th place is “Cosmetic Play Lover,” starring Mamiya Natsume (Okuno So) as a hardworking male beauty consultant, and Sahashi Toma (Toyoda Yudai), a cheeky but talented junior colleague. As they respect each other and grow through their work, love eventually blossoms. This time, the one that made it onto the list is from episode 5, “Make Up Kiss.” Sahashi and Natsume have a fight before their overseas training, and Natsume tries to contact him but doesn’t hear back, so Natsume is standing in front of Sahashi’s house on the day he returns to Japan. They confess their feelings to each other, share a make up kiss, and then their lips lock several times. Please be careful when watching. This scene is designed so that you can enjoy the lip sounds without any background music! This work has many kissing scenes, but I thought that episode 5 had a particularly good atmosphere, and then the director revealed on social media that the kissing scene in episode 5 was left to the two main actors and was hardly directed at all. Next up is No. 5, “10 things I want to do before I’m 40.” Jujo Suzume (Kazama Shunsuke), a 40-something office worker who hasn’t had a partner in over 10 years, makes a list of “10 things I want to do before I’m 40” just before his 40th birthday . However, the list is shared by his handsome subordinate Shimodanaka Keiji (Shoji Kohei), who is 10 years younger than him. From there, the two of them complete the list one by one, and little by little they are drawn to each other, overcoming the age difference and the relationship of boss and subordinate. This is a gentle and sweet love story for adults. This time’s ranking includes the “forehead kiss” from episode 6, when they are eating cake at Suzume’s house as a reward for working out, and Keiji gently pulls Suzume to him and kisses her on the forehead. The indescribable tension of the beginning of love and the fact that he kisses her on the “forehead” instead of on the lips was just too emotional. It’s also kind of cute how Keiji, who is 10 years younger than Suzume and always uses polite language, suddenly switches to speaking casually . As the oldest couple on the ranking, it’s no surprise that they increase satisfaction with the “forehead” kiss . So, what do you think of the rankings so far ? Next up is number 4, “I Can’t Reach You,” a cute and heart-pounding love story between childhood friends and best friends. Yamato (Maeda Kentaro), who is good at school and has great looks, and Kakeru (Kashiwagi Yu), who is cheerful but a little clumsy. They are always together, and at some point, they begin to realize that each other is special. But because they are so close, they are unable to be honest with each other. This is a story that captures a frustrating yet adorable moment in youth. This time, the one that made it onto the list is “The Nurse’s Office Kiss,” from the final episode. Sitting on the bed in the nurse’s office, they kiss, asking each other to go out with them, sharing their feelings. Kakeru, relieved that the tension from his confession has been released, turns to go back to the classroom. At that moment, Yamato quickly draws the curtain and gently pushes Kakeru down onto the bed . “I’ve always wanted to do this,” he says, and their lips slowly move closer. This is a work that is filled with the sparkle and sadness of youth, truly a youthful BL. Nurse’s Office x School Uniform 🟰 Boys’ Love. This formula worked perfectly. Number 4! Although I do think so, the first three places are just too strong. So let’s move on to third place. “Minors – We’re Immature and Progressing Awkwardly” is a love story about two high school boys who are complete opposites : Minase (Motojima Junko), an honor student who is indifferent to others, and Hirukawa (Kamimura Kenshin), a wild and troublesome child. They become closer after discovering each other’s secrets, and while confused by these new feelings, they grow as people. This time’s ranking is in episode 4, “Ice Kiss.” On the day of the high school overnight school trip, Minase has caught a cold and is resting alone in his room when Hirukawa comes to visit him with ice cream. He whispers to him, “It seems that if you pass it on to someone else, it will get better,” and kisses him. The ice cream used in this scene is a broken piece of ice cream, soda flavored. If you have a good sense, you’ll have spotted it! Hirukawa did it! He shows off his blue tongue, stained with the soda flavor, as if to tease him. Despite his childish gestures, he exudes an adult sexiness, just like a high school student! I was searching the actor’s profile while making this comment. He was 25 at the time, and that sex appeal is no surprise, isn’t it? Now, all that’s left are the second and first place. 2nd place: “Beautiful Him.” Taira (Hagiwara Toshihisa), now a fourth-year university student, and Kiyoi (Yagi Yusei), who is struggling every day as a new actor. Taira’s “faith-like obsession” remains the same, while Kiyoi, while hoping for a normal romantic relationship, is troubled by the misunderstandings between them. Meanwhile, Taira begins to secretly pursue Kiyoi so that he doesn’t find out. This time’s winner is the final episode, “Chocolate Kiss.” Kiyoi (Yuki Yagi) feeds Taira (Toshihisa Hagiwara) chocolate and they share a passionate 10-second kiss. It’s so sweet it almost melts in your mouth, just like chocolate. Taira has started working as an assistant to a photographer, and for once he talks about his dreams. Kiyoi says “Congratulations,” and hands him a small box containing Captain Duck and chocolate. Kiyoi looks at Taira, moved by his kindness, and as if spurred on by the magic of Valentine’s Day , Kiyoi puts the chocolate in his mouth and Taira can’t help but kiss Kiyoi. You’ll be knocked out by the dangerous and beautiful sexiness exuded by these two, who are neither adults nor children. The proud first place goes to popular weather forecaster Segazaki Mizuki (Kohei Higuchi) from “Taikan Yoho.” The story begins with these two polar opposites living together under the same roof. Segasaki takes care of Segasaki’s food, clothing, and shelter in exchange for Segasaki’s obedience to everything he says. Segasaki mistakes Segasaki for having gone off somewhere while he is bringing in laundry in the rain, and when he spots Segasaki on the roof, he instinctively embraces him and kisses him, saying , “I can’t breathe properly without you.” This scene… Segasaki has a perfect, incredibly erotic exterior, but he only shows his “dark and foul-mouthed” true nature to Yoh .
