【読書vlog | 購入本紹介】ブックカフェ『文喫』で4時間集中読書|読書時間と読書空間を楽しむ|積読をたくさん読めた4日間
cozy daily reading vlog The daily life of a book lover Day 1 Today, I’m going to take a bunch of books I want to read to Bunkitsu, a book cafe I had the pleasure of visiting the other day, and experience a book-filled reading experience! I love reading in cafes, but I’m worried about being a nuisance if I order more when it gets crowded, but there are a lot of concerns, like if you pay an admission fee, there is a one-day plan, so I decided to give it a read. I packed two hardbacks and three paperbacks I wanted to read in my bag and headed out! I actually wanted to go in the morning, but I had to take care of my rabbit 🐰, so I took care of that and tidied up some chores around the house before starting in the afternoon. 13:50 Arrival. It was my second time, but I was excited! ♬ I successfully completed the entrance procedures and started looking for a seat. I was a bit lost, but I was staying longer today, so I decided on a place that seemed convenient. The venue is larger than it looks from the outside, and I haven’t been to the back yet. Today, I’m reading a book I brought from home again, and the shelves with their unique selection are so fun, so I stopped by to get a drink and take a look at the nearby shelves. There were more people than last time, so I couldn’t take any photos, but I’m curious about the picture book section (of course, I had permission to take photos) . I fell in love with the “Bunkyuttsu special lemonade” last time. 🍋 I guess that’s what I came here for, lol. 14:20 Start. First, I’ll continue reading “Medical G-Men Himi Asako” by Masato Honjo. My time is scheduled to end at 6:00 PM, so I’ll only be here for about four hours. I think I can finish reading a whole book in four hours, so I really wanted to come this morning. First, I’ll finish reading “Medical G-Men Himi Asako.” This is the first time I’ve read Masato Honjo’s work. It’s a very easy-to-read medical story, but it doesn’t use any difficult technical terms, so it’s a fun, easy-to-read mystery. Even though it’s a mystery , it’s not the type where a murder breaks out or the main focus is solving the mystery, so I think it’s a book that I can recommend as an entertaining novel even to people who don’t usually read mysteries . I finished my lemonade 🍋, so I went to get something to drink. They didn’t have lemonade at the time, so I had coffee. I discovered a free paper called “Coffee Square.” 4:00 PM: I’ve finished reading “Medical G-Men Himi Asako,” so I’ll read that next! I’ve been reading mainly new releases lately, and I’ve been on a week-long streak of reading Keigo Higashino, so I stopped reading Alice, but I’m back! Oh! 16:10 Snack time. I ordered a chiffon cake just as I was about to start my second book. For an additional fee, you can order light meals like pasta and sandwiches, as well as desserts . You can also order crepes from the adjacent creperie and enjoy them at your seat. They also sell cookies and other sweets to accompany your reading. They were fluffy, slightly warm, and delicious! I almost ate them all in one go, but I held back and ate them later. Even though I was taking photos, I found it easy to concentrate, and this place truly is heaven. I worry about staying too long at cafes, and I have to worry about timing my next order, so this is a precious space where I can just focus on my book. This pizza-shaped book cover is from Seiwado Bookstore, which I previously purchased at PUS. I use it with a clear book cover and replace it with a paperback of a similar thickness, but I’m happy that they’ve recently increased the number of limited edition paper covers . 16:25 The third book. While I was reading “Death in Nara by the Sea,” I suddenly remembered that I had intended to read “The Green Window” first, so I quickly changed my mind and read this instead. I had started reading the second story on the train and was thinking about continuing! This is a series of short stories, so I’ll be reading them side by side. If I start a new book, I’ll probably never be able to stop, so I’ll have to finish “Case 2,” which I started halfway through. This is a mystery by Shimomura Atsushi, but it’s the kind of mystery where no one dies. As the title “Green Window” suggests, it deals with problems involving trees, which are often the cause of neighborhood troubles. A “tree doctor” who happens to meet an employee in charge of the newly established “Green Window” at the ward office accurately identifies the cause and resolves them amicably. I’ve finished “Case 2,” so I’ll return to the Himura/Alice duo! Well, since the end is approaching, I’m going to focus all my attention on “Death in Nara by the Sea” and read as far as I can. “Bunsetsu” is fun! So much fun!! I’m hooked. 18:16 Return home At home, I get distracted by things like “I have to hang out the laundry” and “cleaning the rabbit 🐰,” but it’s nice to have a space where I can clear my mind with a delicious drink! Day 2: The sky feels like a cross between summer and fall, but it’s still muggy. Today I’m reading “The Last Unexplored Land: Tokyo University of the Arts – The Chaotic Daily Lives of Geniuses.” I haven’t read it in a while, so I pulled it out! I almost never finish an essay or paperback in one sitting, so this book was one I’d left unfinished. I was browsing my bookshelf today, and it caught my eye, so I brought it! It’s interesting, isn’t it? I’m nowhere near the level of geniuses, but I also had a time when I studied drawing and creating art. While on a different scale, I only remember school being chaotic back then (it was so much fun). I still have some editing work left to do, so I’ll get to it! I finished it at 8x speed (hopefully), so I’ll read until dinner. The book I’m about to read is the third installment in Iwai Keiya’s “The Appraiser of Memories” series, a new book that was just released in September. Here’s a quick explanation! 笑 I’m reading the third volume right now, which has this binding, and it’s about the main character, Domon, leaving the Forensic Science Laboratory and working as a private appraiser. This is the first volume, and it also takes place after he leaves the Forensic Science Laboratory and becomes a private appraiser. The second volume, which I finished reading the other day, is about the main character, Domon, during his time at the Forensic Science Laboratory. When I started reading the second volume, I was stuck thinking, “Huh? Wasn’t he a private citizen?” but I thought my memory was wrong and continued reading , but my memory was correct and the second volume was actually a prequel. I just thought my memory was wrong, lol. I read them back to back, so I finally noticed and pulled out the first volume to check. Now that I’ve checked the timeline of the entire series, I’ll start reading the third volume. Have you all seen the TV drama? I wanted to watch it, but when I’m reading the book I forget to watch TV lol. I also forget to sleep, so I’ll go to sleep now! Good night… 💤 Day 3 I’m reading Fujisaki Sho’s “Oriend Slow Train Murder Case” I can’t get it in focus at all 💦 Double tap It was published by a new label called Harper BOOKS+ Fujisaki Sho is also an author with a large number of books published per year, as is Iwai Keisuke who I read yesterday, and of course Nakayama Shichiri lol Konno Bin and Narukami Kyoichi are also fast writers so it’s hard for those who keep up with them! I’m looking forward to the new release, but I also want to read some of his previous works that I haven’t read yet, so it will be very busy, but I’m planning to enjoy it with the spirit of reading when I can. “The Oriend Slow Train Murder Case” is not a full-length novel, but a total of 10 short stories including the title. I haven’t bought it yet, but if you’re looking to read a full-length novel as an homage to “that masterpiece,” please be aware that it’s completely different. As you’d expect from a former comedian, it’s as funny as a short comedy. I ‘ll end it at a nice round number and next I’ll read Atsushi Shimomura’s “Green Window.” I read books in parallel every day like this. Day 4 I was originally planning to go to the pop-up store, but while I was hesitating, I heard that the new book being released tomorrow was available early and there would also be signed copies, so I flew over to Nakayama Shichiri’s “The Man Who Was Made Prime Minister: The Second Cabinet.” I was initially intimidated by the thickness of this book, but when I looked for the new book, it was in stock, so I bought it. I also got the paperback version of a series, so I was very satisfied and headed to the pop-up store. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any exciting encounters so I headed to a cafe 📍TULLY’S COFFEE &TEA/Sakae Since I was at &TEA, I ordered the limited edition Honey Royal Milk Tea. There was a seat by the window available, so the view was great and I was very happy. I read Narukami Kyoichi’s “Shonan Mobile Crime Squad Asahina Koyuki Fragments of Murderous Intent.” The cover is the “Souvenir Book Cover” Shachi Monaka Milk Tea, and I might drink it for the first time in a while! I want to get the honey that has settled in the water out somehow, so I stir it frantically and drink it…it’s delicious! 帰りました。 English: I always avoided it because I thought it would be crowded, but it wasn’t and this place was great I browsed through it while standing when I bought it earlier Actually, I want to read that thick book But they didn’t put a cover on it If I’m going to read that book , I want to finish reading the other books I’m reading at the same time and read that one First I’ll enjoy the books I had planned to read and the other books I’ve been reading at the same time, and then I’ll make time to read the next one carefully I also want to finish this book I started today before that Autumn has suddenly arrived and today it’s cloudy, so it’s comfortable I ‘m happy to be able to walk outside for the first time in a while It feels like the seasons have changed all at once , but it’s already the end of September It feels nice outside so I’ll read a book here before doing some shopping and heading home On the grass in front of me, kids are having fun and tourists are taking pictures Everyone looks happy and it makes me feel happy Before I realized it, it was past 5pm and I hurried to the supermarket It’s sure to get cold soon so I want to enjoy the short autumn I was intimidated by the thickness at first, but I decided to buy it because of a good chance. First up is the paperback. This is a series that I’m patrolling the stock of, so it’s fine to start reading from anywhere, but if it’s available, I want to read them in order . 01 Study in Vermilion/Arisugawa Arisu Actually , I made a mistake. I have up to volume 6 of “Study in Vermilion,” the seventh installment of the Alice Writer series, at home, so when I went to patrol the shelves and found it, I thought I’d buy it, but the seventh installment is “The Mystery of English Gardens”!? I wrote the list in a notebook, but it seems I wrote it wrong. I’ll go find “The Mystery of English Gardens” too! The country name series is easier to get hold of. 02 The Man Who Was Made Prime Minister: The Second Cabinet/Nakayama Shichiri I never thought I’d be able to read the rest as a series, so I was surprised and happy when I found out that it had started serialization! After the first volume, “Prime Minister Magaki” was actually written about in other works. I read it thinking, “Oh, he’s still working hard as Prime Minister,” but it’s still nice to be able to read it as a standalone work. It’s a political story, so it does have a slightly, or rather more, strong ideological message, but as an entertainment novel, it’s good to have a sense of heroism and hope like this. I’m looking forward to seeing how the man behind “Prime Minister Magaki,” who is free of favoritism and ties, handles “politics.” I was also lucky to be able to purchase a signed copy at the right time ! 03 The Hundred Year Statute of Limitations/Fushio Miki This week’s highlight is definitely Fushio Miki’s “The Hundred Year Statute of Limitations.” I read Fushio Miki’s debut work, which won the Edogawa Rampo Prize, and have been waiting for the second volume of the series, so this is my third book I’ve bought. I knew she was releasing new works energetically, so I was interested, but I hesitated because I had “The Queen of Mathematics” backlogged. I saw this in the store when it was released at the end of last month, so I was intrigued, picked it up, read the synopsis, and became even more interested, so I browsed through it. There are a lot of characters, and most importantly, it’s “thick”! The main story alone is 552 pages, which is one thing if it’s a paperback, but a hardback that’s over 500 pages is a big deal. I received advice from a trusted book lover who said, “This is definitely the best police novel of the year,” so I decided to give it a read . I’m planning to start reading it once I’ve finished the other books I’m reading or have started. These are the three books I bought this week! There was a mishap where “The Vermilion Study,” which I thought I bought in order, actually ended up being next, but either way, I bought them, and I was able to get a signed copy by my favorite author, Nakayama Shichiri, and Fushio Miki’s book was in stock so I was able to purchase it without any problems, so I’m very happy. Thanks for watching Hype 🌈⭐️ Thank you for your support!
