Shohei with an EPIC BAT FLIP for his 35th HR of the season! | 大谷翔平35号放つ

and getting on base for this guy. Today’s starting pitcher for the Dodgers has hit 34 home runs this year. He’s at two his last two games and knocked in five. Here they are. Batting average lately has not been up where he would like it, but the power numbers have been real good. Whether it’s a full side or opposite field, the last two to the oppos side. So much pop in this bat. And ahead two and 0. Little squeeze there. Homeplay umpire Mike Mlinski. Brian Jeffers behind a plate. This is poorly caught, but it was to the opposite side of where the target was. On a two- pitch, Choi takes a strike. He has not gotten a hit in the first inning of one of his starts. Like you mentioned though, that was with him walking off of the mound to the on deck circle, not even going into the dugout. And like it was his phone booth. Superman hitting the ball in the air to center field. The starting pitcher hits a monster home run. He is out of this world. Show Otani, one of a kind alltime 35 for the year. Mookie gets on. Show goes deep. He used to rely on the nine-hole hitter to get on so he could hit with some people on base. Well, Muki got on with the walk and show took care of it in a big way. Tommy gives one up, takes two back, and the 40ome thousand fans in attendance today are going to have a story they can tell for as long as they live. I was at a game where Show Otani, the legendary Show Otani, started the game and then in the bottom of the first inning hit a mammoth home run to dead center field. [Applause]

  1. Was never a fan of the catcher on 1 knee. If he was on two knees, that second pitch would have been a strike. Yes, it looked like the target was set up outside and he threw it inside, so he had to reach across his body and an ump isn't going to call that a strike. But on both knees, it wouldn't have looked like a location error and if he caught it clean, it would have been a called strike. Puts him behind the count and we see the result.

  2. The only time I was excited to watch American sports is when Ohtani era and the Khabib UFC era. These two athletes has too much aura.

  3. Outside of Babe Ruth of course, but I believe Shohei Ohtani might've started something for future pitchers to become hybrid hitters in the league. I can be wrong or I might be crazy, but it's just how I feel on how he approaches the game.

  4. Only reason he may not be the goat is cuz of numbers & time. For me tho he's the goat already. Forget the stats.

  5. How many athletes in today's sports world can draw such a large crowd on a Monday evening?

This is even more rare when it occurs during a sport's regular season, which has 162 games per year.

  6. メジャーリーガーの球をあんな普通に打てる奴おらん😅😅😅
