Time Traveller (2010) Explained | A Love Lost Across Time

The girl drank a bottle of magic potion. The next second, she fell from the ceiling. She hit a boy on the head and lay there motionless. Before the boy could react, the girl jumped up and asked him like crazy: “What year and month is it now?” After that, the girl fell
into a coma again. When she woke up again, she had been taken home by the boy. She looked at the calendar and found that she had traveled to 1974. This made Akari very distressed because she got the date wrong and
was two years late. She explained to the boy that she was from 2010 and
her mother was a physicist. But just yesterday, her mother had a car accident
and might not live long. Her biggest wish was to see her first love again. Unfortunately, they had no contact since they separated in 1972. So Akari drank the time-travel potion made by her mother and went
back to 1972 to help her mother fulfill her wish. But for some reason, the date was wrong and it was 1974. Seeing that the boy didn’t believe her, Akari had to take out a mobile phone from the future to prove to him the various high-tech
features of 2010. The boy was a science fiction fan, and he was amazed to see that the mobile phone could take photos, and then he believed that Akari was
indeed from the future. Akari took a photo of her mother and her first love, Mr. Kazuo, and
went to the hall of the school where they studied. But the strange thing was that they were both in the same school and
the same class, but the students had never seen Kazuo. They didn’t even know their mother. There was no way, so the two had to sneak into the office to see if
there were any clues on the class roster. Akari successfully found her mother’s current address, but there was
still no information about Kazuo. The clues were interrupted. Akari had nowhere to go and didn’t know what to do next. So, she asked the boy to stay at his house for a few days, and she
would leave after finding Kazuo. But the boy was unwilling. At this time, Akari said that if he could find Kazuo and tell him
that his mother wanted to see him, maybe his mother would wake up. Ryota was not unwilling to help Akari, but considering the poor family conditions, he was afraid that Akari would have to endure
hardships after living with him. At this point, he had no choice but to take her home. Ryota asked Akari if he would become a famous director in the future. His lifelong dream was to make a science fiction movie. But Akari said she never watched movies. That night, the two huddled in this small house. Worried that Akari would catch a cold, Ryota gave her the only heater to sleep, and he covered himself with a thin quilt
and froze all night. The next day, they came to their mother’s current address, thinking
of asking where their young mother Kazuo had gone. But after ringing the doorbell for a long time, no one responded. At this time, Akari’s uncle happened to pass by here. So he called him. Akari lied that he was a junior high school classmate of his mother, and he had just returned to his hometown today and
wanted to meet his mother. Only then did he find out the whereabouts of his
mother from his uncle. It turned out that his mother had transferred to another school two years ago and moved away, and she had not lived in
the old house for a long time. The uncle was enthusiastic. Not only did he tell Akari the current address of his mother, but he also specifically told her that if she needed anything, she could
contact him at any time. Finally, there was a new clue, and Akari was very happy. She kept telling Ryota about the good things about her uncle. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and
she had no memory of her father. It was her uncle who had been taking care of them. On the day her mother had the accident, she was about to collapse. It was her uncle who comforted her and said that
their family had good luck. When he was young, my uncle planned to take a bus back to his
hometown in Akita, but he forgot to bring his ticket that day. That bus had a car accident that night and fell off a cliff. All 38 passengers on the bus died. My uncle missed the bus and saved his life. So, my mother’s luck will not be too bad, and she will definitely
survive this crisis. She mustered up the courage and traveled back. In order to thank Ryota for taking her in, Akari became his assistant
and assisted him in filming this science fiction movie. The conditions here are very simple, but both of them work very hard. Each shot has to be shot several times. Ryota is editing the film seriously. These days of getting along have deepened their
understanding of each other. Akari also gradually discovered that although Ryota looks sloppy, he
is actually a very careful person. They went to the bathhouse together. Ryota waited at the door on a winter night because
he was slow to take a bath. Even though he was freezing, he never complained. He had always been like this, helping Akari silently, but never
thought about giving back. After many twists and turns, Akari finally found
her mother when she was young. She took the photo and quickly called her mother over. After seeing the photo, her mother said that she didn’t know Kazuo
and didn’t remember taking the photo with him. Akari was completely confused. They had been in love in 1972. Now it was 1974, and her mother couldn’t have never seen Kazuo. So she asked her mother to think about it carefully. Unexpectedly, her mother suddenly felt dizzy and was obviously a
little uncomfortable. Seeing this, Akari had to choose to leave temporarily. On the way back, Ryota suddenly said, “Maybe there is no such person as Kazuo, and my mother may have encountered a supernatural event.” But Akari said that because my mother wanted to see Kazuo, she made
the time-travel potion. For a moment, the two did not know where to go. Ryota planned to go to a friend to talk about the
script of the new movie. The other party was a photographer, sloppy and unkempt. Akari didn’t like him, so she found an excuse to stay in the next
room for a while. But she unexpectedly found that the photographer
took a photo of her mother. Out of curiosity, Akari found her mother with the photo the next day. Unexpectedly, her mother said that she had a good relationship with
the photographer and she often modeled for him. And his real name was Hasegawa. Akari was stunned for a moment, because her
biological father’s name was Hasegawa. Ryota’s photographer friend turned out to be her father! Akari couldn’t accept it for a while. She hated unkempt men the most, no wonder her
mother divorced him in the end. But now she was in trouble again. If she stopped her mother from being with him, she would not be born. Now she couldn’t find Kazuo, and all these things
put her under a lot of pressure. When she came out of the restaurant, it was raining heavily outside. At a loss, Akari suddenly found that Ryota was holding an umbrella
and waiting for her silently at the door. Akari’s heart warmed up. Apart from her uncle, Ryota was the only man who treated her so well. In the following days, she gradually developed a
good impression of him. But she didn’t dare to say it, and couldn’t say it, after all, she
came from the future. It was impossible between them. In order to help Akari find Kazuo, Ryota took out all his savings. Then he took him to the local newspaper and prayed that the president
could publish a missing person notice. He was always so bad at speaking. Although he was not living well, he always missed Akari in his heart. Akari saw it, but didn’t know what she could do to help Ryota. The only thing she knew was that Ryota liked movies. So, she did her best to help him shoot. These days, they got along very well. The newspaper also got the news that the missing person notice was
successfully published. Akari did everything he could in this era. If Kazuo is still not found, he can only choose to
go back to the future. This made Ryota feel a little reluctant, but he didn’t dare to
confess directly. Akari saw his thoughts, so he hoped that Ryota
could be more open-minded. Then, Akari hoped that Ryota would become a famous photographer in the future, marry the drifting actress, and give
birth to a very cute child. By then, she would become a person in Ryota’s past tense, because she
came from the future. Akari’s words made Ryota feel very sad. He suddenly walked out of the house, and then kept
running and running. He came to his friend’s house panting and borrowed a camera. He wanted to add a shot at the end of the movie, and he wanted to
shoot it himself. The next day, Ryota took Akari to a cherry blossom forest. It was winter now, and there were no cherry blossoms. But he insisted on filming here. Akari cooperated as usual. He filmed a back view here, and in the picture, Akari was walking
farther and farther away. For some reason, there was a sense of sadness of parting. After the filming, he said to Akari a little embarrassedly that he
hoped to watch the cherry blossoms with Akari in 2010. Calculating, he would be almost 60 years old by then, and Akari would
still be so young after returning to the future. Thinking about it, it was actually quite sad. Akari promised him that she would come here to find
him again in the future. After returning home, Ryota suddenly received a
call from his hometown. His father was seriously ill and asked him to go home quickly. This made Ryota very sad, not just because of his father’s health. He told Akari that his father had an accidental stroke and was paralyzed in bed, and he would need to take care of
him for the rest of his life. So, he might not come back after leaving this time. His movie dream can only end here. He can no longer help Akari find Kazuo. That night, Ryota stayed up late to edit the movie and prepared to
give it to Akari as a gift. At least, returning to the future, the other party
still has a thought. Although Akari was reluctant to leave Ryota, she
had done everything she could. Unable to find Kazuo, she could only return to the future to take
care of her mother. Just as she was about to remix the potion she had traveled through,
the glass beside her fell down. Akari then discovered that the glass was actually still in the air. At this moment, a middle-aged man suddenly walked in. Akari recognized him at a glance. He was Mr. Kazuo, her mother’s first love. Just looking at his age, he seemed to be in his 50s. Akari asked with a puzzled look: “Aren’t you a high school student?”
Kazuo told Akari that he was from 2698. In fact, Kazuo is also a scientist. 38 years ago, he traveled back to 1972 to do historical research. It was also at that time that he met her mother. Later, they fell in love and spent two years of happiness. But at this time, he realized that his every move
here was gradually changing history. Once time and space are messed up, the consequences are disastrous. There was no way, so he had to erase everyone’s memory of him, of
course, including Akari’s mother. So, when Akari took the photo to school to look for him, his mother
said that he had never seen Kazuo. But decades later, his mother accidentally saw the photo again. The memory of Kazuo instantly flooded into her mind. The side effects made her dizzy and unable to see
the road conditions clearly. This indirectly led to her mother’s car accident. Kazuo explained that in order to make sure that his travel back had no impact, he would check the information about
himself every once in a while. He was at a loss to find the missing person notice posted by Akari. Therefore, an investigation was conducted to
understand the whole story. But history must not be tampered with. Even though he still loves Akari’s mother, he still can’t be with her. Kazuo promised Akari that he would definitely go to see her mother. But in the end, he would still erase his memory. Now that Akari has fulfilled her mother’s wish, she must also erase
her memory of this era. Then, send her back to 2010. At this moment, Akari stopped Kazuo from erasing her memory because
Akari wanted to see Ryota for the last time. Ryota, who didn’t know, packed her luggage, found Akari, and gave her
the videotape of the movie. He told Akari that he would take the bus back to
his hometown Akita tonight. Ryota still held out hope that he would have the opportunity to come back soon, and when he came back, he invited Akari to go to the
movies together. Akari didn’t dare to tell him that she was going back to the future. Whenever Akari recalled the details related to Ryota, her tears would
fall uncontrollably. The more Akari thought about it, the sadder she felt. Finally, she rushed out and hugged Ryota tightly. She didn’t want to forget Ryota, and didn’t want to lose Ryota. She only hated that she met her beloved at the wrong time. Ryota just touched her head lovingly, and finally left. Akari walked on the street absent-mindedly. Halfway, she met her uncle who was in a panic. Uncle said that he was going to take a bus back to his hometown Akita
tonight, but he forgot to bring his ticket. If he didn’t go back to get it, he would miss the bus. Recalling the lucky story that her uncle had told her, and the fact
that Ryota was also going to take a bus back to Akita tonight. Akari suddenly realized that the bus that Ryota was about to take was
the bus that her uncle missed and fell off the cliff. So Akari chased after him. She wanted to stop all this and could not accept
that Ryota would die because of this. She finally arrived at the station, but she found that Ryota had
already boarded the bus. So Akari hurried through the crowd and shouted Ryota’s name loudly. At this moment, Kazuo directly pulled Akari back and warned her: “Travelers cannot change the past, otherwise they may never return to the future!” Unexpectedly, Akari took out the
time-travel potion directly. She said that she would stay here, and then threw
the potion on the ground. Akari chased after him again. She desperately knocked on the bus, shouted Ryota’s name loudly,
begging him not to leave, begging him not to die. But the bus did not mean to stop. The bus went farther and farther, and she watched Ryota leave and
watched her lover run towards death. At this moment, Kazuo came up to stop Akari and said that no matter
how cruel it was, history could not be changed. Akari was in agony and kept saying sorry. In order to relieve Akari’s pain, Kazuo also erased
her memory at this time. About 1974, everything here, about her favorite Ryota, began to
gradually disappear in her mind, and finally became blurred. Akari still forgot, forgot the man who cared about her the most. When she woke up again, she had been sent back to 2010 by Kazuo. In her current memory, her mother had a car
accident and was still in the hospital. Today is March 3. The TV media released a news notice: “Thirty-six years ago today, a bus bound for Akita fell off a cliff, killing all 38 passengers. In memory of the victims, please observe three minutes of silence.”
Kazuo kept his promise to Akari. He went to the hospital and used future technology
to revive Akari’s mother. Then, Kazuo said thank you to his lover and said
that Akari was very similar to her. Kazuo still erased his memory about himself. Akari passed by him, but now she didn’t remember who Kazuo was at all. She had forgotten everything. Akari was very happy to see her mother wake up. But at this moment, she accidentally found the
videotape in her pocket. This made her very curious, wondering where this thing came from. So, she found a friend in the film club and borrowed an old projector
to see what was recorded in the videotape. The film is a simple prop, telling a science fiction love story. Akari just felt familiar, but she couldn’t remember
where she had seen this plot. Until the end of the film, she saw a familiar figure. The more she watched, the more she found that it seemed to be herself. And the director’s name was Ryota Mizorogi. A friend found a note in the box of the videotape. Akari opened it and saw that it clearly said: “I want to see the future cherry blossom trees with you.” No one knows whether Akari
remembered Ryota. But every spring in the future, she would come to the cherry blossom forest alone, leaving a back figure, looking around, as if waiting
for someone here. Well, today’s movie sharing is here Welcome everyone to like, comment and forward Thank you for your patience in watching Looking forward
