Hi Ichimaru, great to see that you've posted a new video again! I'm currently in Japan, and would like to share my experience with you! On 10 and 11 of June (Tuesday and Wednesday), I went to Akiyoshidai Safariland to visit Yuka! It was really far so I drove from Fukuoka all the way to the zoo. When I saw Yuka, I thought everything worth it. It was my first time to see Yuka in person, and she was really cute!! I could also see Nonoka, Fuka and Reirei as well. On the first day, I paid to feed Yuka, and chatted with the zookeeper. She was nice and chatted with me in English. After that, I joined the feeding bus activity on 2:30pm, it was the red panda bus! (on the second day it became the lion bus, so how lucky I was!) After that I had tea in the zoo restaurant, and it was a memorable experience for me to have a meal with red panda next to me!!❤❤
On the second day in Safariland, I also drove there. When I just arrived Yuka wasn't there, and the information board said she was resting. I was disappointed at first, but luckily she came out to have apples, and I paid to feed her again haha. The zookeeper on this day could barely speak English, but we tried our best to chat, using Google translator. She was very nice too, and she said she loved Harumaki in Fukuoka zoo. When she mentioned the name Harumaki, I suddenly remembered that she was the one who loves to destroy things! But I couldn't reall she is in Fukuoka zoo when I plan my trip. After chatting with the zookeeper, I had lunch in the zoo restaurant again😊😊
Thanks for the zookeeper, I went to Fukuoka zoo today. Unfortunately, it was raining, and even some moments had heavy rainfall. I saw the zookeeper fed Harumaki, Nozumo and another red panda (Minamo right?). When it was raining heavily they didn't come out😢😢😢. However, when it was around 3:30 pm, the rain became much smaller, and Harumaki and Nozumo were walking out of the room, so that I could see them. Harumaki was eating some bamboo as well, she is so cute ❤❤😍
Although it was costly for me to visit Safariland, it was a really great experience for me to see Yuka in person. She is so energetic and cute, especially she is fluffy due to the fur changing recently. Both the zookeepers I met in Safariland told me that Yuka might not be giving birth soon😢, and a new female red panda would be coming for Reirei. Do you know that?
Anyway, thanks for reading up to here. It is my great pleasure to be a red panda lover, even though I live in Hong Kong and don't come Japan so often. Next time I may go visit Ako in Kumamoto!!😂
