All the panelists which were present in the so called “Manipur ki baat”, except the retd Chief justice of our high court Justice Siddharth Mridul, were outrightly pro-kukis from the start of the conflict. Only the retd chief justice can be considered neutral. The remaining, viz., Retd DG of Assam rifles Shokeen Chauhan, who blatantly said there is no narco terrorism in Manipur despite many evidence of poppy being planted in thousands of acres; GK Pillai; Agnostos theos; the retd BSF ADG(I forget his name) and Prashant Bhushan are all pro-kukis, they don’t even try to hide. Even Prashant Bhushan, the guy who is representing the Kukis in the Supreme Court, was made a panelist!! So, anyone can imagine where the discussion is headed towards, even without listening! So the discussion is just a propaganda machine disigned to set a narrative where the Meiteis are painted as the aggressors and the kukis as the victims. The entire discussion was lopsided! And we should not be fooled by the mentioning of our Merger agreement by that guy, GK Pillai. It is clever manoeuvre by him to avoid people calling him pro-kuki, while he himself is outrightly pro kuki. Merger agreement marak taga hapchillk edudi haap Ta yadabagi hapchillk ene. Maram di kuki gi support tah dum ngang leirdi moise pro-Kuki ne hybase mapaan thok lk ani hyna. Let’s not be fooled by those people who have been entrapped by drug money!
