“Synopsis”
An old man was strangled to death in a mansion in Kita-Kamakura.
Katsuragi Asako (Sawaguchi Yasuko) is watching the outline of the incident on TV.
In fact, Asako was having an affair with university assistant professor Kagami (Enoki Takaaki) without the knowledge of Asao Kensuke (Minegishi Toru), who had committed the crime.
Asako witnessed a suspicious person near the murder scene, but is afraid that her affair will be discovered and cannot come forward.
At that time, a witness appears and gives a statement to the police, but the facts are completely different from what Asako knows.
Asako is unsure whether to come forward to the police…

「あらすじ」
北鎌倉の邸宅で、老人が絞殺された。
桂木麻子（沢口靖子）は、テレビで事件のあらましを見つめている。
実は麻子は、事件のあった朝夫・謙介（峰岸徹）に内緒で大学助教授・各務（榎木孝明）と不倫をしていた。
麻子は殺害現場の近くで不審な人物を目撃していたが、不倫関係が発覚する事を恐れ、名乗り出られない。
そんな折、目撃者が現れ警察に証言するが、麻子の知る事実とは全く異なる。
麻子は警察に名乗り出ようか迷う…。
