It seems that once again Satoh's thoughts on marriage are still going around in circles and again with the timing and being consistently busy. This feels like this is a stubborn pattern with Satoh of overthinking so much that he talks himself out of things, becomes negative, obsessing about the past when some things were difficult, maybe painful even, and busy and having no time to meet. Takeru then loses what little confidence he started with, and becomes dishonest about his real feelings.
With his career and new opportunities rising so fast for him, and also doing things alone for so long, it seems normal for him to be selfish about not wanting his carefree, busy single life to change.
I still sense by your reading that the other person is Mone when you were talking about destiny, soulmates and that it seemed like they've been together a long time. This was what you felt in your last reading that you did of Satoh and Mone's relationship at that time.
