How to Setup Shizuku with Termux Easily in 2025

That is Ray Mobile Gamers. Today I’m going to show you how to set up Shizuku with Termox. And the reason why is because it’s hard to understand how to set it up for some people. So, I’m going to show you how to do it. It’s very easy, actually. So, let’s go and search for Suzuku out of the Google Play Store. Yes, you can download the one out of GitHub if you want to, but I’m doing this legitimately because I don’t want people to be like, “Oh, this one’s not working.” So, yeah, this is what we’re going to do. We’re going to install Shizuku. We’re also going to install Termox. Okay, for the sake of this part, we’re going to set up Termox as well. So, after you installed it, click open. Click allow. Now, in here, we’re going to type in Termox dash setup dash storage. Press enter. Scroll down until you see Termox. Check that off. Go back. Go back. And now, we have our storage set up. Now, how do we know that? Well, I’m going to install an application called MU Files, which allows us access to our internal file manager. Click on the three lines and I’m going to go down to the lefth hand side and see Termox right there. And there’s my storage folders that were just set up for us. Now, the next thing we’re going to do is navigate to Shizuku and we’re going to follow the step-by-step guide to actually get this set up. So, Android 11 and above. Certain devices also you have to follow these steps. It’s I’m going to let you know some devices. I guess there’s Pocop phones that have issues with uh setting up developer options or something. So, make sure you follow the steps about that as well. Um, if you have a phone that’s below Android 11, then you have to follow the steps for that. But this is for Android 11 and above and it works out fine. Now, for pairing, now you have to enable developer options. I’ve already done this because if I remove developer options and then enable it again, then I have to restart my phone and then that stops the recording. So, about phone, if you go to build number, tap it multiple times, it’ll pop up with a message saying you’re now a developer. And then if you go into system settings, go to developer options. You’ll see your developer modes is enabled. Now scroll down until you see like USB debugging, wireless debugging. You’re going to turn that on. Now I’m going to forget my recent setup here so that I have nothing in there. There we go. And we’re going to navigate back to Shizuku. And you’re going to click on pairing. You’re going to click on notification option. Check this off. Go back. And now you’re going to click on developer options. So, you’re going to scroll down to that wireless debugging again. I don’t know why I keep missing it. Wireless debugging right there. Pair device with pairing code. Okay, click on that and you should get a code. Now, this dialogue window at the top of the screen should show up. Enter pairing code 614775. That’s mine. Yours is going to be different. 614775. Check it. And now we should be able to start Shizuku. We should be paired and everything should be good to go. Now go back, click start, and you should be able to start this. As you can see here, mine started. Now, I’m going to be telling you something right now because you need to have a notepad app. So, simple text editor is an okay app to use unless you already have a nice notepad app. But I’m going to go simple text editor, and that’s the one that I can confirm that actually works out great with this next step. And what we’re going to do is navigate to Shizuku again, and you’re going to click on use Shizuku in terminal apps. Now you’re going to click on export files. You’re going to export them just into your documents folder somewhere safe, somewhere that you know they’re where they’re going to be. And then you’re going to navigate back to your actual documents folder. And you’re going to grab this ris file and you’re going to open it. So long press on it, click on the three dots, go open with. And if it doesn’t open up with a text editor or anything like that, then you can just go back into simple text editor, the three lines, click open, go back to your documents, and open this risk file. Okay, so now we’re going to scroll all the way down. And it says at the bottom of the page, replace package with application ID. So not that package, but this package right here. So the application ID is going to be com. Termox. Now, you might not want to use Termox. There might be other terminal em emulators out there, but I’m using this one. Now, I’m going to save as and I’m going to save it as ris. So, make sure you actually click on ris and save and overwrite. Now, what you’re going to do is you’re going to navigate into our me files. You’re going to go back. You’re going to go over to termox. You’re going to go to storage and you’re going to create a folder in here. So, new folder. You’re going to name this ris all lowercase. Now you’re going to go back to your documents folder and you’re going to go to grab these two files right here and you’re going to copy to three lines termox storage and ris and copy. Now you’re going to go back into turn termox. You’re going to go cd rich. Now this is going to navigate us not into the ris folder if there isn’t actually anything in there. So ls as you can see storage cd storage and then cdish because that’s where we have to be. So now we’re in the ris folder and you’re going to type in bash b a s h ris just like so r i sh. And click allow all the time. And now we have shell commands. Why would you want to do this? Well, I’m going to try to mess around with something here. So we’re going to go window manager. Oh, sorry. Window manager size. Sorry, my mistake. Size 1080 by 1920. There we go. Now I just messed up my window manager size. As you can see here, I changed the size of my window manager. I’m not sure if you guys should see that on screen, but basically all I did was just a shell command. Why you want this? Well, you can also use shell commands for like uninstalling a whole bunch of applications if you want to by using tools that allow you to copy the package names. It’s like you can go and, you know, uninstall Termox if you wanted to. But don’t do that if you’re actually in here because then you won’t be able to use it anymore. But that’s about it. Enjoy. Hope that was helpful because I haven’t seen a single helpful Shizuku setup guide on the internet yet and I thought I would just do a standardized Shizuku Termox setup guide. Now, if I want to reset this, I go window manager, reset. And now I can actually go back into my lovely 2560 by whatever resolution this phone is. I forget. Bye-bye.

This guide will show you how to properly set-up Shizuku on Android with Termux easily.
