And he drops another one in there for a called strike three. Otani, he finds a pitch. He sticks with it and he picks up his fifth strikeout. Two gone here in the fourth. And Otani bores one in on the hand. Strikes out Kepler to start the bottom of the fifth. Moment of truth for Show Otani. Bullpin is active. Two outs in the fifth. And a swing and a miss. Schwarber strikes out. Otani gets him on the big curve ball. Clutch strikeout for Otani. Keeps the Dodgers in this game one. It’s three nothing Phillies. And a swing at a miss. Otani with the curve ball again. It’s turned out to be one of his a pitches here lately. Strikes out Harper. Strike out number eight. The same pitch he struck Schwarber out on it. Just counted that pitch. Guys gear up for 98 to 100. Two outs. And Otani goes back to the hook. He strikes out Brandon Mars. Three up, three down. Nine Ks for Show Otani. What a performance from the game’s greatest player. Dodgers lead it 5 to3 and Roi Sasaki with his first major league save opportunity. It comes in game one of a division series. JT Realm Mutoo leads off and a called strike three. Dropped the splitter on him. Real Muto strikes out and out number one for Sasaki here in the ninth. Yeah, watch this splitter be just tumbles right over and you can see that Ramuto gave up on it. He I think he even said, “Wow, it’s almost like that big 12-6 curveball. You give up on it and got him looking.” First ball swinging, bouncer to second base. You go Rojos makes a play over to third goes Kepler. And the Phillies are down to their last out and it’s going to be Bryson. One ball, one strike. Sto pops this one up. This could do it. over his Muny into foul grounds and the Los Angeles Dodgers with a comeback win snatch back game one and go up 10 in this best of five. Tioscar Hernandez with a gamechanging three-run homer in the seventh. Dodgers win game one five to three. And we talked about this Dodgers bullpen and Dave Roberts told us before the game he wanted his high leverage guys. What did they do tonight, Brian? They had Otani. They went to glass now. They got one out from Bessia and they got their closer Sasaki to come in and get the big out. And so he got his high leverage guys. And for the Phillies, they went up three nothing but were not able to add on. And I’ll tell you what, this was quite the game one back and forth. The team that had the most comeback wins in the National League this year. The Dodgers are shaking hands here at Citizens Bank Park. Sasaki earns his first save in his first chance. And an incredible story developing with the Dodgers in rookie Sasaki anchoring down that bullpen and to come into Citizens Bank and Notch’s first save. How impressive.
