【大谷翔平】驚異の連続ウォーク記録に敵将白旗「彼を打たせる訳にはいかない」ロバーツ監督も感涙「ショウヘイが全てを変える」【海外の反応/MLB/野球】

Tay Oscar, I know that it’s been a grind as of late. We’ve seen it on your face, but today you had yourself three hits, two of them were home runs. How good did it feel just to have some success at the plate? Oh, it’s, you know, it’s amazing. Uh especially because uh one of one of those uh two hits uh were in pitches like good pitches for the pitcher. Not a good pitch uh that we ultimately hit, but uh you know, that’s a good sign. I think uh the hard work is paying off. Uh I just want to continue to do that. Uh not chasing the success and just trying to be ready for what what comes next. Are there any adjustments that you’ve made that you would attribute just to the success of those swings tonight? Uh not really. Just trying to be more patient. Uh not trying to rush uh anything. Just trying to be on time, let it go, and just not not trying to do much. Just hit the ball and just see what happens. You think about the defensive side of these last few games because the pitching has been so good. You guys have just been trying to keep things simple for your pitchers. What was it like playing behind EMTT Sheen tonight in which he was perfect through five innings of work. You know, the last three games, uh, every starter has thrown, I think, seven innings. Uh it’s been amazing when when they start to do that, you know, you put a lot more effort just to give the support that they deserve and trying to uh put some runs so they can pitch more uh comfortably and just going out there have fun and play hard. Yesterday we saw Maxy return to the lineup. Today it was Will Smith. Tomorrow it’s going to be Tommy Edmond. Does it feel like just this group is getting back to its full strength and you guys with the offense getting back on track right now? Yeah, I mean we we didn’t have the we didn’t have the whole lineup. Never. I think and in this off season. So, uh, now that everybody’s coming back, it feels really good. Feels excited that we going to have everybody’s back. Uh, not only on the position player side, but on the pitching sides, too. All right. Should we say it? He’s back. Congratulations on that. Congratulations, Oscar. That was a well-rounded dominant win for the Dodgers. They hit four home runs. Zachian takes a perfect game into the six. Winds up going 772 the final. Just lots of things to compliment and lots of things that you go this can continue. So we got three wins in a row. The offense looks it’s like it’s coming around. The starting pitching has been immaculate and the bullpen they will find their way. So this is starting to look real good and feel real good as far as the starting pitching goes. This four games in a row where it’s been complete dominance and Blake Snell will try and make it a full trip through the rotation tomorrow. Yeah, they are not uh making guys chase, but they’re getting people out in the middle of the strike zone. And once you do that, then you do get the chase. So, I love the way it’s happening. It has been some weaker lineups, but we will see if they continue to execute like that. Even the better offensive teams are going to have trouble. All right, it’s Blake Snell for the Dodgers tomorrow. It’s Kyle Freeland, longtime Rocky as the Dodgers go for the sweep and look for a fourth consecutive win. Well, Muki, first just these are now three straight wins. When you look at kind of the complete games, have you been seeing the pitching, starting pitching has been excellent, the offense getting going? Does it feel like you guys are kind of just coming back into yourselves and getting back to playing Dodgers baseball? Um, can’t get into those feelings. We got to stay out of the feelings, so we have to just stay uh stay in the moment. Had some good games, but just got to focus on tomorrow. For you personally, when you’re showing more power with the swing, what does that kind of say to you as just to where things are at offensively? Um they’re in a decent spot. I mean, but uh like I said, I I got to stay out of my feelings. I got to make sure I just be present um each pitch at a time and just go from there. You guys, you said kind of in Baltimore that you guys have felt like you’re close for a while. How encouraging is it to sort of see the results where you actually get put together complete game like that for the last couple days? I mean, it’s good. It’s good. Um you know, it’s it’s good. we uh we know we we’re still a good team and whatnot. So, uh it’s just good to uh to get some wins and I mean, kind of is what it is. From your viewpoint, what were you seeing just from EMTT Sheen, especially as he was perfect through five innings of work? Yeah. Uh he was just throwing a lot of strikes. I mean, mixing it up, keeping it out of the middle of the zone and getting a lot of swings and misses. So, um I mean, he’s he’s been, you know, awesome for us. I mean, the really the whole staff has been amazing for us, but you know, for him to come in and especially he didn’t pitch last year, so come in this year and just to uh to do what he’s doing is something, you know, he’s special. How encouraging has been for the staff as a whole, especially like you kind of envisioned all these guys kind of being part of like rolling him out there and they’re all kind of pitching really well at the same time. Yeah, it’s uh it’s really neat. It’s really neat being on this side and you know I think uh sometimes we kind of take it for granted but uh you know if you kind of take a step back and and look at it you know that’s there’s a lot of baseball teams that could that would ask for for something like this just opportunity to win every day and those guys give us opportunity to win every day and it’s really important for us as uh on the offensive side not to take that for granted because you know this is uh something that’s that’s not an opportunity that you very rarely Well, EMTT, obviously you were fantastic tonight. You were perfect through five, excellent through seven. How do you describe just kind of the feeling that you had on the mound and how your stuff was playing tonight? Thank you. Yeah, uh I felt good. I felt like executing the slider pretty well uh to the glove side and then trying to keep them off the heater as much as possible. But yeah, felt really good with that slider. The usage was up in this one. How has that pitch just evolved for you and how you’ve kind of used it, been more reliable on it, reliant on it? Um, I think it’s like the more I throw it, the easier it gets to get it to that spot. Um, yeah, I think it’s a big it’s an important pitch for me for sure, just because I’m usually pretty fast ball heavy, so keeping them off that with the sliders is pretty important. You saw what the rest of the rotation did the last time through. Was there any competition like you know, Glasno had the no hitter through seven, I got to do it myself? No, I I wasn’t really thinking about it, but uh, it’s been incredible what those guys have been doing. Yoshi’s start and then Glass’s start and Kersh. They’ve all been unreal. Did you know what you had going? I mean, were you following? Um, not really. No. You didn’t know that you had not given up a hit or a base runner after five? I probably knew, but I was like definitely not thinking about it. Um, yeah. I don’t know. That’s the right answer. 19 strikeouts, last two home appearances. Just kind of what has been the uptick in the strikeouts lately? Uh, I think just execution has been a lot better. Trying to stay around the zone more. Um trying to get rid of the uncompetitive pitches as much as I can. Um and yeah, just keeping them off balance. You ask about kind of like the no hitters in the perfect game. Is is that kind of contagious? And just like when you see a guy go out there going into your next start, does that kind of just kind of extra motivate you to kind of go out there and do it? I don’t know. Um I definitely like seeing Glass what he did yesterday uh against the same lineup and trying to pick up on certain stuff that worked um even though our Arsenals are a little different I think helps a lot. Um but yeah, just seeing him have have success was was definitely big. And your last two home starts been really good like you said. Um does that confidence like does the confidence feed on itself? Um maybe. Yeah. I think I just feel uh comfortable out there. So that’s definitely something that helps for sure. Well Dave, the excellent pitching just continues. I mean you perfect through five, excellent through seven. Just what were you seeing from him tonight that gave him that edge? Uh I I saw edge. Uh I saw confidence. Um just really quality strike throwing. Um I thought Will and him were in lock step tonight and just really great to see him complete seven and again just uh allowed us to reset some guys in the pen, use some guys that you know hadn’t gotten work, get Alex back in the fold. So um just overall really good night from uh from the pitching staff. What is it like just having Will Smith back behind the plate for him to get the hit early in the game, scoring the run? Just what kind of boost does he now have kind of with his return to the line? Um it’s just it just it’s great and we use the term lengthen out the lineup a lot and just having Will in the lineup just taking the at bats that he takes and obviously getting us started with the double um was was great to see and just you know putting guys in their rightful spots in the order and um it’s tough to navigate you know when you get Will back you get Max back um you get you know Andy and Teao doing what they’re doing then Um it’s a tough lineup. The focus kind of their own fast. What does that slider really become for? Well, the slider has been great. Um I I think that but I I still do believe that that gloveside fast ball, it starts with that and then when he can use that pitch off of that that lane, that tunnel um with the slider um and then there’s a change up in there obviously and then you get the fast ball that’s elevated. It’s just tough to kind of square him up and um but for me it just that gloveside fast ball kind of uh sets the tone for everything. But he just got he’s got a lot of confidence right now. Mookie look like Mookie the last month or so. Um he he looks like Mookie. Um he’s just playing baseball. Um I don’t think he’s overthinking the mechanics. He’s competing. Uh he’s trying to, you know, help us win baseball games. and you’re seeing that kind of emotion, the confidence, the swagger, um, which, you know, we hadn’t seen in a while, but you know, it’s been consistent over the last 30 days. When you look at the what the rotation’s done the last trip through, does that is that just a coincidence or do these guys feed off each other? Um, certainly they’re talented. um you know, if you look at all six guys, but I do think that there’s a feed off one another and um you know, EMTT had a no hitter through five tonight and um I I think that that’s they’re feeding off one another and and I think that it’s it it plays into the at bats, too. When you get the right guys out there and, you know, you see guys taking good at bats, then you want to follow up that with another good at bat. But I think, yeah, the starting pitchers, they’re doing a heck of a job. Do you think Teao can build off, you know, the swings he took today? I do. I I do. Um, you know, even even in the at bat, the first at bat where he grounded out, I I thought the at bats, the takes, the swings, all were good. And then so he’s been grinding trying to figure out, you know, his mechanics, his approach, all that stuff. But I thought tonight was the first time in a long time that he looked comfortable and um I thought he freed his body up, he’s freed his hands up to see the ball better. Um to not crash and just it just looked right and so for him to get rewarded with a couple homers and you know base it the other way was uh was was good to see. Are you starting to see like more of the edge that you talked about wanting to see from him? Uh I am. I am I I think that you know you look back at at one night in Colorado and from that point on I think it’s been very good right field play. I think that the intent uh in the batters box has been there. Uh the results haven’t and he’s been trying to uh work through that but I think tonight you know overall was just a really well played baseball game from Teao and I do think that we can we can keep that going. How do you explain the quirkiness of of all the last three or four days with Yamamoto and Glass on the flirting with the no hitters and the perfect through five etc. Um I I I think that um you know the pitchers are of the mind that these are very very important games. It’s kind of the playoff mentality. I think the catchers are you know calling games uh in that vein. Um, I think the defense has been really focused, getting off the baseball, and so we’re just, yeah, we’re doing a good job of preventing hits, preventing base runners, and I just see there’s a heightened level of focus across the board, and our offense is is, I think, has caught up. Were you aware of this strange moment we had after the five innings? We’re on this anniversary of the Kofax thing, and uh, you had a picture of perfect after five. Were you actually aware of that? Not at all. Okay. Sorry, Sandy. I was not aware of that. It’s fine. It’s fine. I was just curious if you were aware that he had not allowed a base runner and this was this anniversary day. No. No. That would have been really special. Um I but I wasn’t aware of that. Dave, Emtt’s shown this ability to dominate over the course of those two seasons that he’s had. How training of that of an option does he is he for you guys down the road? Oh, he he’s he’s a he’s a real option. uh I don’t know what capacity, but you know um you know when you’re playing meaningful games, young player uh you’re looking at how they handle their emotions and EMTT is I I like to use the word unflapable and it’s a huge compliment and he’s unflapable. Uh he knows he’s talented and he knows how to execute pitches and he’s got good stuff and you know no moment is too big for him. So, um, I can’t speak to what role, but I know that he’s a viable option, you know, for us now and going forward. For Kirby, we saw just you can see his emotions and frustration after that home run. How important are these next two and a half weeks for him as he’s kind of looking to clean a few things up? Um it’s important um just for him to get the confidence and I think you know however many pitches he threw you know most of them were quality pitches and he tried to go up and in to Goodman and left it down and gave a homer. So I I think for for me it’s looking at the outing in totality and just feeling that there’s a lot more good throws and bad throws. But yeah I I think for him just trying to happy we get the win but he’s really trying to find himself and get those feels. so he can be as effective as he needs to be for us. Start with Vermont. Uh what you saw from from him today. Uh you know, I thought he held his VO. I thought, um the curveball was was pretty good overall. Uh I think he just got he just got behind in counts and that hurt him today uh with the homer specifically. Uh missed missed over the plate maybe a little too much. With EMTT Shien early on, what were you seeing from him? Man, Sheen was good. I mean, fast ball slider pretty much exclusively. Uh, and we chased the slider out of the zone. I think eight of our nine punch against him were were slider chase. So, uh, you know, we had a tough time against that pitch tonight. Four homers for the Dodgers. This this ballpark has the highest rate of homers per game. Why do you think that is? Oh, I have no idea. Probably because they’re a really good team. That would be my guess. I mean, obviously a tough two nights, but Hunter hitting that home run with two outs had to be especially to get that milestone. Must have been great. Yeah, that was number 30. Yeah, that was big for him. I’m happy for him. Um, you know, all the things he’s done this year have been incredible. Uh, but at the end of the day, our team, we lost seven to two tonight, and that’s uh, you know, that’s where we’re at right there. And Kyle breaking the Carol’s breaking the ice there with with the hit in the six. I know you guys you’ve been talking a lot of great things about him, but just kind of basically stepping up there to start producing that first drive. Yeah. Yeah, he he kicked us off. You know, you hating our first hit wasn’t until the sixth again tonight. Um but yeah, good good for Kyle getting it going and then and then Yankee right behind him getting on base and and and free driving in our first run to get us a little bit closer. Um yeah, nice job by Kyle right there.

  1. チームは山本のともらい合戦をしているような感じ。
    あれをきっかけに本気で集中し始めたのかな?
    あと佐々木をリリーフか抑えに使ってほしい。
