Car camping in a hidden spot Full of troubles A journey of discovering challenges While playing at the summer beach… Hello, we are Tatsuo and Umiko Today, we will camp in our car (a Kei van) named Every This Every was given to us by Tatsuo’s friend from school days The other day, we DIYed a sub-battery system and a bed We will immediately test the results of our DIY When traveling as a pair, storage is still not enough… We loaded the play equipment in the storage space under the bed It’s mid-July… the weather forecast is rain Umiko just got her manual transmission license Immediately got stuck in traffic, struggling with half-clutch Entered the Tomei Expressway and got out of traffic It was just noon, so we had ramen at Nantsuttei Tatsuo had been to the main store in Hadano during his school days Switched drivers Today’s destination is Deai in Tozawa (Kanagawa Prefecture) A village of famous spring water Kanai Sake Brewery (Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture) We got tonight’s sake Doesn’t it feel like an automatic car? Yeah, it’s smooth It feels like an automatic, right? My manual driving skills (Shut up) We’ll buy dinner ingredients at the supermarket We got the ingredients Soaked in heavy rain There’s a hot spring next to the supermarket Umiko hitting the receipt button hard See you Umiko already hungry from the stress of manual driving A heavily customized Every appears The bumper has been changed Tatsuo had also considered the same customization The place we are going to now is… A memorable place we visited a few years ago with our Bongo The road leading there is a narrow, steep gravel road The off-road performance of the Every will be tested I can’t believe we drove the Bongo here back then… Compared to the Bongo, the ride is softer Trusting the performance of the mud tires, we move forward The mud tires should be good not just for looks Our off-road spec Every is pushing through the rough road Umiko is driving The fuel efficiency has dropped to 5-6km/l The ventilator fell from the overhead storage The DIYed bed remains stable even on rough roads Taking a break at a spring water spot After this, a terrifying incident will occur We have reached about halfway up the mountain road What… There was a leech in my shoe! I thought my ankle was tingling, and a leech was sucking on it It got into my shoe just from stepping outside a bit Here too… Umiko freaked out seeing the leech No one gets excited over leeches We arrived at our destination! It’s deserted We need to pay a cooperation fee of 300 yen The space on the left side was off-limits… Bang Stalled the engine (lol) Umiko is overjoyed That spot over there looks good The left rear wheel slipped… Engaged 4WD This Every has a standby 4WD system Normally, it’s 2WD (FR), but switches to 4WD when there is a rotational difference between the front and rear wheels STOP!! Huh? Tatsuo didn’t notice the rock in the blind spot on the front left… At this time, he still didn’t know that this blind spot would later cause a tragedy (to be revealed in the next video) And then… The leech menace continues (lol) Two more leeches sneaked into Tatsuo’s shoe I barely stepped outside, when did they get in? PUUU Surprised I can’t take this anymore There’s blood seeping through my socks The leech sucked my blood through the outside of my socks There were three leeches on Tatsuo’s right foot Umiko is furious at the leeches Tatsuo doesn’t seem too bothered Apparently, leeches have a substance that prevents blood from clotting I’ll put on a patch for bug bites Now then We will set up the interior of the car First, install the DIY mosquito net and ventilator The ventilator might be easier to attach and detach if it were thinner We made it to fit into the window We need to move the unused items in the back space to the driver’s seat It’s very troublesome and tedious to move items every time We need to address the storage issue immediately A simple way to walk through Fold the passenger seat forward and leave the driver’s seat as it is to move back and forth The folded passenger seat can be used as a backrest Thinking about the arrangement of items Using rechargeable lanterns for lighting The TEMU video was unpopular, but there are quite a few good products This is a Barebones lantern Setting up the cargo area for cooking mode Moved bedding and clothes to the driver’s seat for now Left the items needed for cooking and eating in the cargo area This is a camping table from Daiso The ventilator intakes air and exhausts through the mosquito net The purpose of this car camping is to test the flattened bed Placed the sub-battery system under the floor Also placed spare batteries for sleeping bags and refrigerator The underfloor storage is intended mainly for play equipment like fishing gear and surfing gear Cannot store tall items, but chairs and water bottles can fit With some ingenuity, we can improve usability The internal height is about 15cm Designed the interior space to be wider considering Tatsuo’s sitting height (Umiko has enough room) Daiso box EENOUR D10 (10L refrigerator)
Running on battery The first run of the ventilator happened to be on a rainy day Is it okay since the upper half is covered by the sun visor? Placed the campfire tools and fishing gear on this side of the underfloor storage A vast storage space Intended to place items not used inside the car Lots of mosquitoes, so using Vape The tank will be placed outside Forgot the rice measuring cup Want to easily switch between solo travel and two-person travel formations If you have good ideas or helpful videos, please share them in the comments Might need storage above the cargo area Need to arrange storage to not compromise livability Found a straggler It’s Migi from Parasyte Cool even in midsummer Cooking rice without a measuring cup Bad news Need to go outside to use the inverter (design flaw) Terrible setup lol Will fix it when we get back In car camping, the place for garbage bags is important The local sake we bought on the way Nice label Slightly sparkling sake Cheers Delicious Tastes like sparkling wine Rice wine Refreshing Even people who don’t like sake can drink this like sparkling wine Tastes like Hadano’s water Why are you laughing lol Hadano is a famous water town in Kanagawa Kanai Brewery’s summer brand Can be enjoyed like sparkling wine Perfect for summer with its refreshing feel Slightly cloudy Pure rice sparkling Raw Our impressions match the promotional slogan Despite living in Kanagawa for many years, we haven’t visited many sake breweries Mid-July, just before the end of the rainy season Looks like this summer will be hot again We were thinking of swimming in the river this time, but It seems unexpectedly cold (lol) Using the sub-battery for the rice cooker Using a portable power source for the ventilator A small 300Wh power source (PECRON) Convenient with an integrated charging cable (no need to search for cables every time) The size and shape are also perfect, not getting in the way The stove won’t light up easily Slight slope The Daiso table is sagging I could see the moment the Every switched to 4WD The front wheels started spinning too? The ride changed Shall we add tofu? No tofu With this rain, outdoor dining was impossible Even with the rear hatch open, no water falls inside If we do this with the caravan, water falls inside (I think that’s normal lol) Refill on the delicious sake A small bottle isn’t enough (the 720ml bottle didn’t fit in the fridge) Ahh By the way, there’s no signal here Neither Rakuten Mobile nor Docomo has a signal There’s a toilet, but it’s not clean Umiko is furious at the leeches This must be the work of the leeches we exterminated You did it, didn’t you? Got exterminated after doing it Umiko is losing her will due to the leeches Worried about rainwater intrusion from the ventilator, but it’s okay so far Finish with a sauce made of five-spice powder and soy sauce Five-spice powder (Pronunciation is rough) Five-spice powder Powder We’re running out of sake Shall we dilute it with river water… It’s muddy from the rain The sake amount is disappointing The brewery staff came to the car to check the size of the refrigerator As a result, the 720ml bottle didn’t fit in this refrigerator As a result, we’re now short on sake Ran out of sake before we started eating Ahhh Made something super delicious Added thickness with potato starch Added onions harvested from our home garden Here you go Sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle~ These are onions from Umiko’s farm Have you seen my garden onions? No, I haven’t They’ve grown super big Really? Isn’t the rosemary growing slowly? Basil grows fast The basil is growing wildly The parsley is being eaten by bugs There are many huge caterpillars I didn’t know bugs eat parsley If I were a bug, I wouldn’t eat parsley I’d want to eat cabbage I’d eat garlic Did the rice cook well… It looks a bit soft Ah, it’s okay It’s delicious Shall we buy a measuring cup tomorrow? I’ve mastered eyeballing it, so we don’t need one Umiko often cooks rice by eyeballing it since she often forgets the measuring cup The Daiso table is quite flimsy Let’s eat Shall we make a bowl with egg? Sounds good I want to eat French toast for breakfast tomorrow Each making their own bowl in their own way There is still a lot to do with the Every’s DIY It’s still in development Gradually making it a car camping spec without rushing to complete it all at once Not aiming for 100% from the start Look It looks super delicious Yours looks better Mine has a stealth egg Stealth egg Not stress Stealth Not stress Delicious Delicious I want to lift my chopsticks Because I worked hard to make this meal… There’s blood on the floor Heh And mosquitoes are flying around What a chaos The floor is bloody It’s Umiko’s blood… This sake is so easy to drink that the amount was just right I could drink as much as I want Checking for leeches every 3 minutes I don’t think there are any new leeches No way I can’t take this anymore Can I finish all the rice? Leave a little Thank you for the meal We’ll wipe the dishes before washing Considering the need for a sink in a Kei van car camping How about the space… Want to at least brush my teeth inside the car There is a proven simple system to drain water into a PET bottle using a funnel In places like this, we can wash dishes outside, but that’s not possible at roadside stations… Should we go for a portable sink that can be packed as needed, or a sink assuming this tank & pump… Which is the best? Need a system that can save water This 20L tank is absolutely necessary for washing fishing or surfing gear Maybe a simple sink that makes use of this? Thinking about such things is the most fun (Arguing about dishwashing again) Brushing teeth in the great outdoors Want to store all the items used in the upper floor space There is also a way to divide the floor further and access underfloor storage from the upper floor… But it’s a hassle to move things on the floorboard every time you take something out, so we want to avoid it as much as possible Need to think about how to use the space from removing the jack space and rear heater Switching from meal mode to sleep mode Something’s wrong with the EENOUR refrigerator battery Will replace it It’s cool, so removing the ventilator Laying two single air mattresses side by side to sleep The old mattress isn’t working well Loosening the cap allows it to self-inflate Since self-inflation stops halfway, I tried buying a small pump on Amazon But even with the pump, it can’t fully inflate Ended up finishing it by blowing it with my mouth… Laying a cooling sheet on the air mattress The width isn’t enough… The bed is complete Need storage Small items are losing their place Moving items is troublesome It was very difficult to secure the sleeping space Need to decide where to place items Inflating the air mattress was also troublesome Since the ceiling is deadened, the sound of rain doesn’t resonate Introducing the bedding again…
Mozambique air mattress (60cm wide) There’s space at the back to place things The goal is to be able to switch from meal mode to sleep mode without moving items We made the caravan a permanent bed for that reason (we are lazy) Don’t want to clean up or set up when tired Since it’s a Kei car, it’s very challenging, but we definitely want to clear this task If we move things out of the way, we can secure enough sleeping space for two people However, in this case, we had to do a lot of work to create this space Want to create a comfortable sleeping space without doing a lot of work Got off-topic The pillow is from Daiso Cooling sheet pad Aizu multi-shade This is really good Will link everything in the description Barebones lantern (USB rechargeable) Plan to run the lighting on sub-battery in the future These curtains were installed by Hiro-kun (the previous owner) Excellent blackout, great for sleeping Folding the passenger and driver seats forward makes it nice The sleeping bag is from Voited Using the spring & autumn version as a comforter The floorboard fits perfectly with the inner lining, so no worry about dropping things There’s a slight gap here Since it has an anti-theft device, need to be careful when locking and unlocking Umiko wears earplugs Tatsuo sleeps while listening to the sound of rain Want to see the outside view while lying down when we wake up Well then, good night It’s 7:20 Huh? It’s 7:20 Woke up because it got cold halfway through Tatsuo woke up at 4:00 The rain has stopped The air mattress deflated (due to aging?) Found many issues with the air mattress The deflation is due to aging, but It shouldn’t age The task of inflating & deflating it is very troublesome I think a folding mat would be better Don’t you think so? When I was looking for that, Tatsuo said The air mattress I use is good~ Did I recommend this? Did I say that… It’s good that the folding mat becomes smaller No, this doesn’t actually become smaller The folding mat can also be used as a chair, which is good That one is definitely better Oh really (Opinions) changed 180 degrees It’s very troublesome to put away the air mattress It was useful during the Cub travel Even on the ground, the sleeping comfort is excellent (The preparation and cleanup are troublesome)
But the sleeping comfort is great Rolling it up while removing the air is troublesome Folding mat would be much easier Remove the air by placing knees on it Roll… Roll it up Heh heh Heh heh heh Heh heh heh What’s so funny? His words… Heh heh heh Heh Tatsuo’s slip of the tongue seems to have hit her funny bone Roll it up, okay? Ahh Put your knees on it there! Got it, wait… Haven’t put my knees yet? It’s so funny heh Are you busy preparing to place your knees? Annoying Every single time Swimming here on a hot day feels amazing Switching from sleep mode to breakfast mode Surprisingly cool Expected a midsummer car camping, but it’s unexpectedly cool Brought the portable power source (300Wh) at 50%… It’s down to 36% (used for ventilator and phone charging) The sub-battery is still 97% (only used for the rice cooker) Will charge the portable power source from the sub-battery Since the 12V output from the sub-battery isn’t implemented yet, will charge via inverter Will add the 12V output next time The EENOUR battery can be charged with a USB-C cable This portable power source supports pass-through charging (charging while supplying power) The output from the sub-battery increased Grateful for the nature of Tanzawa Now, let’s make French toast The river water is super cold Heh We talked about swimming in the river, but We’ll catch a cold if we swim Umiko has a two-meal-a-day style Only Tatsuo will eat the French toast About 5 years since we started car camping… Have been sticking to French toast A frying pan without non-stick coating… Using butter for oil The biggest challenge is temperature control to prevent the toast from sticking to the pan Clearing this ensures the perfect French toast Enjoy it simply with honey Recently often tempted by toasters But French toast is our original Made delicious French toast today too A fitting breakfast for the Every’s first run Humidity is too high We’ll wipe the dishes before washing After eating It’s tea time Glad the rain stopped Got to do a bit of camping Cheers to the future of Every Not summer-like, it’s cold Zero summer feel Unexpected coolness Poor visibility (lol) By the way… Despite driving on a rough road, the sub-battery and surrounding equipment did not move at all The arrangement and suspension also have a big impact Taking a walk since we’re here The terrain has changed since the last visit Changed by flooding? There’s a huge man-made waterfall Instant death if you fall This car camping gave us a glimpse of the direction for Every’s modification Storage, mats, electrical systems…
There are many things to do The most important point is how to easily switch from meal mode to sleep mode There are also plans for improving off-road performance Before departure, we will pay the 300 yen cooperation fee And get water from the river Tried using the pump in reverse… But it took too long, so we gave up Tried finishing with the pump But it stopped because pebbles got stuck Quite disappointing Switching to driving mode Moving items is really troublesome The portable power source was fully charged in just over an hour The sub-battery charge dropped to 79% It should charge while driving, so we’ll observe after departure Moved items from the driver’s seat to the cargo area As I said many times, we want to minimize moving items We were healed by Tanzawa’s nature This is footage shot a few years ago At that time, we could drive to the water’s edge Our nostalgic Bongo Well then, let’s depart Stuck here Managed to get out somehow Even with 4WD, you can still get stuck Probably a diagonal stack? Installing an LSD to handle diagonal stacking will greatly improve off-road performance Planning to install OS Giken LSD next time Want to come back here to see how the driving changes after installing it The drive charging is working great However, Kei cars have small alternators (60A), so after this trip, we replaced it with a reinforced alternator (80A) This solved the voltage drop issue when using both drive charging and air conditioning, giving us more leeway in the electrical system Will continue to monitor the impact on fuel efficiency After this, we head towards Shonan! We came down from the mountains of Tanzawa Kanai Sake Brewery (Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture) The sake here was delicious, so we will buy it again There is also sake for gifts Hot… The luggage moved during off-road driving The sub-battery is recovering Tatsuo woke up in the middle of the night and teased Umiko Umiko fells asleep really well He tried to straddle me I got annoyed To another sake brewery that caught our interest Yoshikawa Brewing Co., Ltd. (Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) We came here after seeing the photos and reviews on Google Maps Tatsuo prefers light and sweet sake The most interesting sake only comes in large bottles This is for tasting Got a small bottle of sake (Junmai-shu) Secured tonight’s sake The 10L refrigerator is full The sub-battery is fully charged Entered Hiratsuka City Heading to a restaurant for lunch in Hiratsuka… Huh? The restaurant has been leveled It was our favorite set meal restaurant… What should we do for lunch We are lunch refugees Crossing the Trusco Shonan Bridge, from Hiratsuka to Chigasaki We can see the riverbank where we DIYed our Bongo a few years ago Chigasaki Coast Interchange, which we used every time on long trips This is the planned site for a roadside station (construction is halted) Having lunch at a seaside restaurant Next to GODDESS (surf shop) Riki Riki Deli (Hawaiian cuisine) The lunch menu is a great deal The lively staff will serve you It even comes with a salad bar You can enjoy lunch while looking at the sea of Chigasaki If you come to Shonan, definitely visit! Heading towards Enoshima East on Route 134 Stopping by the Tsujido clam direct sales place Shonan clams are exquisite They are in the middle of purging sand, so we can’t buy them until tomorrow afternoon… These clams… they are just so big and delicious Since we don’t have ingredients for tonight, we are going to Seiyu Umiko is a bit flustered driving the MT It’s still in neutral 🤪 What was there before? Seiyu, the lifeline for Tsujido coast residents Let’s have mackerel today Umiko, who just got her MT license, is struggling We took a break at Komeda Coffee until the evening It seems it rained We will sleep in the car at Enoshima tonight The Kugenuma skate park has been newly reopened Oh, the beach season has already started There are many couples Fewer people compared to weekends This area is a super crowded spot on weekends Especially in summer There are people in yukata Is there a fireworks display? Did you see people in yukata? Yes They might just be wearing yukata for no reason This is where Tatsuo surfed for the first time Today we will use the hot spring facility in Enoshima There are a lot of box cars parked Are they for tourist transportation? Entering the parking lot next to Shonan Port I want to go fishing on the rocks tomorrow Enoshima is one of the top tourist spots in Kanagawa It’s also a top-class fishing spot Well then Let’s switch the car interior to meal mode (Forgetting that there is a window switch in the back as well) Can we endure this heat with just the ventilation fan? Enoshima was the venue for the sailing competition in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics There are shrines, caves, and observation towers, attracting many tourists every day The power of the homemade ventilation fan is not great! The refrigerator is running on the battery We are using the EENOUR D10 Upon checking, there seems to be a fireworks display in Kamakura at 19:20 today Let’s finish dinner early and watch the fireworks Not being able to use the inverter from inside is a design flaw (lol) Since we forgot the measuring cup, we will cook rice roughly If we close the rear hatch, we can’t bear the heat Speaking of summer, it’s eggplant Not fireworks? Fireworks too (lol) How’s the Daiso table? It’s not bad, but the usual table is better It bends when you put heavy things on it It’s getting humid This is the summer of Japan The Kamakura fireworks display will be held as scheduled First time in 5 years since the COVID-19 shock Grilling mackerel bought at Seiyu with miso Topped with cheese, it’s done This ventilation fan is insufficient for heat countermeasures But we don’t want to install an air conditioner Let’s upgrade the ventilation fan to 12V We want to adjust the airflow and make it reversible We need to rethink the air flow We want to move the air throughout the car Let’s start with the salad The Daiso BOX can also be used as a table We were thinking of buying another one, but it disappeared from Daiso Miso cheese eggplant, done We will drink sake during the fireworks Yeah Delicious! It’s getting cooler We might want a screen door for the rear hatch One that allows entry and exit A screen door would be good in places with many mosquitoes like the mountains We will list the issues identified on this trip and prioritize them First, change the mat We need to address the dirt and waterproofing of the floorboard Maybe we should put cushion flooring The rice is cooked Grateful for Seiyu’s blessings Going to Enoshima Spa (hot spring) Once, Enoshima had an incredible number of stray cats The whole view of Enoshima Thanks to the police, security is maintained The main street is lined with shops for tourists Enoshima Island Spa, a hot spring facility at the entrance of Enoshima Shrine Day-use bath 2000 yen It looks like we can see the Kamakura fireworks from the rooftop It was a spectacular bath with a panoramic view of the Shonan sea and sunset (photo quoted from the website) Since the view towards Kamakura from the rooftop was not great, we are returning to the parking lot We will use the back roads Now, it’s time for fun Umiko is going to watch the fireworks from the hot spring rooftop Waiting for the fireworks while drinking delicious sake Ah~ Tonight’s sake is delicious too Umiko @ the hot spring rooftop Can’t stop drinking sake Enjoyed the surprise fireworks Enoshima Island Spa felt like a luxurious hot spring facility Well then… Let’s switch the car interior to bed mode Discovered the problem that the ventilation fan and shade cannot be used simultaneously We worked hard to set up the bed today as well It was very difficult We want to make the bed preparation easier It’s strange to work hard just to sleep It’s putting the cart before the horse A permanent bed is the way to go 4 AM We are going fishing This is a rocky shore we used to visit often There are many ferocious blood-sucking insects called Isonukaka
(More troublesome than leeches) Today’s target is barracuda It’s a fish that is often caught in the early morning or evening during this season No response to the Daiso worm, so we switched to a Sabiki rig Got a response There are bites, but they don’t get hooked Are they biting the sinker? Removed the hook from the jig head and used it as a sinker, but reattached the hook Finally, a hit Got the main target Keep them coming Nice! Just reeling in on the surface Getting into the groove We’ll catch lots of souvenirs If we use this barracuda as bait, we can aim for big fish For Tatsuwo’s fishing in Enoshima, there are many past videos on the sub-channel
(Tatsuwo’s Journey) If you’re interested, please check it out The main target, barracuda, is biting non-stop It bit the sinker It bit the sinker This feels like a sardine Urume sardine, a very delicious fish, but
we’re releasing it this time Barracuda is a very delicious fish You can catch a lot with Daiso’s rig The barracuda’s activity is skyrocketing 5:30 AM, returning to the car Umiko is still sleeping We wash all the used tools with fresh water I will take a walk until Umiko wakes up at 6:30 AM It looks like it’s going to be hot again today The cicadas are already chirping Didn’t sleep much? Yeah The fishing was amazing Really?! We caught barracuda Nice! We caught 19 Let’s have barracuda rice Switching from bed mode to driving mode Parking fee for one night is 3000 yen The sub-battery was used for the rice cooker, so it’s a bit drained We are going to have breakfast Parked the car in another coin parking… Heading to today’s breakfast venue Enoshima Koya
~A restaurant where you can enjoy delicious shirasu and local fish from Sagami Bay~ It’s a popular place located next to Katase Fishing Port, just before crossing the Enoshima Bridge To the terrace seats by the sea (or river) Everything on the menu is delicious (probably) We are thinking about today’s plans There are too many places we want to visit in Shonan Umiko is having a shirasu bowl. Tatsuwo is having a staff meal bowl Namero is on top of the rice If you have breakfast in Enoshima, this place is recommended This namero might be made with yellowtail instead of horse mackerel… Finally, we add dashi Kugenuma Beach On clear days, you can see Mt. Fuji The breakwater at Katase Fishing Port is a wooden deck, making it a perfect spot for a walk The sea is calling I feel like swimming The goggles we planned to use in the river yesterday…
are finally getting their turn here Cooling down our heated bodies The water can’t be called clean, even as a compliment (lol) Daiso’s goggles (500 yen) are really good I’ll use these for life www What is this person? lol It’s a school of mullet A sea where you can swim with mullet Hey, mullet~ Hey Hey, don’t run away~ Hahaha Hehehe That felt great~ Umiko is very satisfied after swimming with mullet The skate park is cool We saw it yesterday Taking a break at Gusto in Kugenuma Soy milk rare cheesecake…
I got hooked on it from this Delicious! And then, a tragedy… Let’s go zooming Please Grrr Huh? … ♫ ♫ Scraped the curb We messed up… I felt very sad The left front of the Suzuki Every… is a complete blind spot I want a guts mirror~ This is impossible Anyone would hit it while driving We’ll have to consult a mechanic next time Repair or bumper replacement… What would be a good solution for the left front blind spot… I couldn’t see anything… Hmm I couldn’t see anything at all! Get some energy from Jiro Yeah The main reason we came to Shonan Jiro (ramen) Takeout for 2-3 people for 2000 yen We organize the fridge and store the ramen We need to keep the barracuda cool Today’s lunch is Shonan Negiya (ramen) An evolved style of Iekei ramen We used to eat here a lot when we lived in Shonan The road to the parking lot is super narrow I’m shocked~ If you think on a cosmic level… It’s a tiny event Suddenly, Umiko wants to catch a blue crab 11:30 AM, the store opens We bought negi ramen (Tatsuwo) and negitoro ramen (Umiko) There are two table seats at the back of the store The negitoro ramen has yam in it The negi ramen has a mountain of green onions The tonkotsu soy sauce-based soup is incredibly delicious It also has onion-flavored oil (probably) Into the exquisite soup We add garlic… And drink it all We enjoyed it very much Tatsuwo has retired from driving !!! Stalled the engine lol We came to buy coffee beans Coffee bean specialty store East (Fujisawa City, Honkugenuma) We decided to have a cup of coffee inside the store Umiko, who doesn’t like coffee, can drink cold brew coffee Let’s buy 200g of Blue Mountain blend beans to take home I’ll take 200g of Blue Mountain blend later, please We’re sold out… The Blue Mountain blend here has nearly double the usual blend ratio, so the staff confidently recommends it They are a wholesaler that supplies coffee beans to department stores and cafes Today, we decided to buy Hawaii Kau beans, which are directly sourced from Hawaii! We used to live nearby until last year Although we can buy online, we come to the store to buy every time We drank it after returning home, and it was very delicious Today, we will stop by Hayama and then return to Chiba There is a place we want to visit Goodbye, Shonan We think the range of Shonan is from Kamakura to Oiso We have entered Kamakura City from Fujisawa City We can see Inamuragasaki It’s the venue for the legendary surfing competition, Inamura Classic Memories of Yuigahama Every year, DefTech comes to Yuigahama, and we went to see their live performance Together with Tatsuwo, Umiko, and company friends Such nostalgic times At that time, we rented a second house in Tsujido and surfed before and after work I wonder if DefTech still comes to Yuigahama? About Umiko and alcohol Umiko hardly drinks alcohol now, but She used to drink a lot When she lived in Sangenjaya, she used to frequent a place with all-you-can-drink Jägermeister There was a place in the Sankaku area where you could drink all-you-can-drink Jägermeister for 500 yen Why don’t you drink alcohol now? Now? I don’t feel like drinking that much It’s expensive and not good for health Health comes first Sleep is the most important I don’t like that drinking alcohol lowers the quality of sleep We have arrived at Morito Beach in Hayama A place we are interested in as a fishing spot The scenery is beautiful A place associated with Minamoto no Yoritomo and Yujiro Ishihara Umiko’s father’s name is also Yujiro Yujiro’s face This is a serious swimming spot The area around the torii in the sea is said to be a squid fishing spot The sea here is 100 times cleaner than Enoshima’s It’s also excellent as a launch spot for SUP On weekdays after September, you can park for a maximum fee of 1100 yen There are also toilets And above all, the scenery is beautiful What about the toilets? The toilets were being used as a makeup spot by gals Couldn’t use the toilet? No, I did A clean and calm beach There are benches It feels like a hidden gem… Even gals come to places like this Yeah, kind of The people we saw earlier looked like gals who would be at Yuigahama The fact that they chose this place makes me feel a sense of closeness They must be gals who don’t like crowds And they like clean places… Gals who care about water clarity We had a meaningful reconnaissance We can return to Chiba with peace of mind That night We will have the barracuda we caught in Enoshima We opened the belly And cooked it with rice At home, we use a clay pot rice cooker Sprinkled with green onions from Umiko’s farm, it’s ready Let’s eat There’s no way it could taste bad Bonus
(The next day’s lunch) This is the takeout Jiro ramen We prepare the garlic and vegetables ourselves It includes fresh noodles, char siu, and soup You can enjoy the taste of the shop at home No need to line up in a queue, and no pressure from the line behind you while eating Jiro’s takeout is recommended A small ramen (small) contains two servings for 2000 yen *Jiro’s (small) is equivalent to an extra-large serving at a regular ramen shop Once you eat it, you won’t want to eat it for a while, but Before you know it, your body craves it again, a mysterious ramen We are captivated by Jiro’s magic It would have been better to add a bit more vegetables Thank you for watching
