【恐怖】英語力ゼロ女、留学に行くことになりました。

[Music] Hello everyone. It’s Shiori. Well, this is sudden, but I’m going abroad to study. Well, the day has finally come. Well, I’m going abroad to study as an adult. I’m going. Well, it sounds like I’ll be going a year early, or even a month, but it’s actually only a week. So, I’m a little embarrassed to announce that I’m going abroad to study, but, well, studying abroad is studying abroad, after all. I’ll be back to being a student. So, it was decided a little over a week ago, and the Osaka event was also decided at the last minute, so today, ah, is the day before I leave. The station is in Canada. Vancouver. I don’t think I need this. [Music] So, I’m packing now, and these are my must-have items for the plane. Ah, the ear wires for pressure, and this is the multi-purpose balm I received at the event, and I feel like I’m also like Mi-chan, who was also at the event . It’s a bit obvious, but I’m still not done, but I have some free time, so I’ll eat dinner a little later. Something I absolutely have to do when I go abroad: Plan to empty my fridge. Well, I usually start counting backwards about a week before and gradually reduce the contents of my fridge . This time, surprisingly, I don’t have much left. Yeah. [Music] Well, there are 50,000 vegetables like this, but I love the kind that grow and grow, like green onions, which are still delicious even after a while. So, what am I making with this? I’m just throwing everything in a pot . And I’m seasoning it with chicken miso. The miso point is complete. For me, cleaning out the fridge the day before I leave and making a pot is probably like eating a live rice bowl before an exam, or Ichiro having curry for breakfast. [Music] Off to dinner. [Music] And today, I’m going to sushi and study, so it’s a bit more challenging than my usual solo gatherings. Ah, that’s why this Toaichi highball, uh, chopstick rest, and this T-shirt, and this slaw, all of these, uh, were gifts from, uh, viewers . Thank you so much, everyone. So, uh, I tried putting sushi on a sushi plate. [Music] It’s sushi rice. I thought the salmon roe would be a little more expensive, so I put it on a black plate, and oh, this amberjack is red, and I had fun like that. [Music] It’s so fun. No, this is quite a revolution, uh, it makes the supermarket packaged sushi look just like sushi . Yes. It’s delicious and fun. Lately, I’ve been joking around, and I’ve been living off everyone’s love. Seriously , I’m studying abroad. And it’s a homestay. Wow, I did it. It’s hilarious, right? Wow. It’s a challenge that even makes me laugh. [Music] Thank you for your support. This time, I’m studying abroad and doing a homestay. To give you the details, I was contacted by Sumaru, Japan’s number one study abroad agency in terms of number of clients. [Music] [Music] Would you like to study abroad? To be honest, I’d been approached by other agencies a few times before, but [Music] I had other work commitments, and I thought it might be difficult to get ahead if I didn’t speak English, so I turned them down every time. But Tomiyama was a little different. [Music] Oh, they wanted all Japanese people to have the experience of studying abroad, so they wanted the cost to be cheaper than other agencies, and they wanted it to be possible to study abroad for as little as one week, and they seemed to place a lot of emphasis on the experience itself, which really resonated with me. I’m a bit of a loner, aren’t I? I ‘m a solo traveler, after all. [Music] Right . Actually, I could have chosen between a residency or a homestay this time . While I thought a residency would definitely be easier and more secure, I wondered if that was really the right choice. Oh, this might be the last time I’ll ever do a homestay. Those angels and demons were echoing inside me. So, when I’m stuck on a choice like that, I think about which path I’d rather choose, and I ended up choosing homestay. [Applause] Honestly, I was really worried about whether I’d be able to manage it, especially since I can’t speak English like that and I’m not very good at group activities. But, since Suma-san said that it would be fine if I could deliver the reality of studying abroad, I’ll just believe that and go for it. Thanks in advance. So, this time, I definitely want to improve my English , but more than that, I hope to enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds and enjoying life. I guess that’s my mission. Thanks in advance. So, it’s mission day. It’s been a while since I last came to Haneda Airport’s Terminal 3. And today, there’s a hole in the wall. Yay! Lately, I’ve been flying mostly international airlines, so Japanese airlines are definitely more reliable. Thank you. I’m really going to study now. I’m hopping off and hopping back, absorbing everything I’ve got. Please support me. [Music] Thank you. Oh, your Scoble seems cheap, but that’s why I’m going. Maintaining the status quo leads to blossoming. [Music] So, to kick off this journey, I’ll be enjoying a comfortable flight. I’m heading to Vancouver, Canada , but the weather is completely opposite, so I need to drink and eat a lot here to prepare for the morning. Here I go. As I eat this oyakodon, I have no idea what’s going to happen, and I’m just feeling vaguely anxious, but please don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll have the best experience, be influenced and inspired, and meet many wonderful people. My future self wants to hug me when I tell him I’m here. I’m feeling that urge right now. It’ll be okay . Ah, I think the next episode will probably be about Canada, but the experiences I’ve had were undoubtedly invaluable, so I’m kind of worried about how I’ll be able to capture that freshness and gratitude in my videos this time.
