I made her promise not to tell you that I’d tell you myself eventually well that was a month ago and clearly that was too long for her to wait so she stole the letters I wrote and put them in your mailbox I need to get better locks on my house I was worried you’d think it was creepy or something especially since a whole stack just appeared on your doorstep I never meant for you to read them I was going to figure out how to tell you some other way I just wasn’t ready I don’t know I didn’t want to ruin things I guess you me noara itadori we’ve all been friends since jiujitsu Tech as annoying as those two meat are I’m glad we all have each other and I’d hate to jeopardize that make things awkward you know yeah I’ve liked you since high school I don’t know when it started but once I realized I did I didn’t know what to do about it no I never got jealous of you and itadori I know you’re close and when you turned him down he’s still stuck by you like any good friend would and I only get annoyed at him because he’s an idiot sometimes yeah I guess he does make me jealous but not in the way you’d think he was much better at you know showing you how he felt he was so open about it maybe a bit too open about it I don’t know I guess I was envious that he could tell you how he felt and I couldn’t it’s why I started writing the letters I thought I could just get my thoughts out on the page maybe I could say them to you out loud but I never could until hold on let me find one I can’t believe I’m doing this every time I see you I feel a weight in my chest like my heart is heavy from keeping all of my feelings to myself I wish I could be different I wish I could tell you everything I love about you because you deserve to be reminded how great you are I’m so glad to have someone like you in my life someone who I know cares about me and not for my curse technique or my Heritage but for the person I am as long as I can spend my days making sure you feel the same way around me then I have what I need I could never hope for anything more unless of course you wanted it then I’d be yours in a heartbeat so there I finally said it now what really you mean it I thought that was going to end badly I thought you wouldn’t want to talk to me anymore yeah the weight is gone I’m still trying to believe it’s not a dream what do you mean you can prove that it isn’t that doesn’t help much maybe try again yeah I believe you I’m not dreaming um could you do me a favor don’t tell no about just yet she’s probably waiting by the phone for you to call her it’ll be better if we leave her hanging for even longer it’ll drive her crazy not knowing how her little stunt went don’t say that she’ll never let us forget this she’ll take credit for setting it up until the day we die well I would have told you eventually yeah fine I needed a push I needed to get over my fear of losing you I made myself miserable for all this time and I could have just been honest it might take some time but I’ll do my best to be more open to you no more letters I fight cursed Spirits for a living I should be strong enough to look you in the eye and Val you these things um I think you did actually burn what you were cooking you’re adorable although turning off the stove is a good start don’t worry we can fix it I am responsible for distracting you so it’s only fair that I help yeah I guess I can distract you some more later in the meantime I think we should go out to eat I think your cooking is beyond saving come on don’t sulk we can get whatever you want I’m actually surprised you keep burning things you’re normally a pretty decent cook wait did you burn your food on purpose all those times just so I could come over and help you make something else looks like I wasn’t the only one hiding their feelings huh huh come on then we both have a lot to talk about now so might as well do it over a meal oh you’re still here good I thought you’d already left if you want to hang
