Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2025: REVIEW SPESIFIKASI LENGKAP! Superbike 1000cc Termurah?

Hello speed lovers. This time I am at the Kawasaki Surapita Unitrans dealer in Malang City. Where now I will review a very special motorbike and it is very rare to see it on display at the dealer. The motorbike is a 1000 cc class superbike. According to the thumbnail, it is the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Well, this is the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. This is the special version. The one that uses the Kawasaki Racing Team livery. Well, before we discuss this motorbike, let’s talk a little about its history first. The Kawasaki ZX-10R was first born in 2004. This motorbike replaced the old generation, namely the Kawasaki 900R. From year to year, Kawasaki has increasingly developed the technology and features on this motorbike. Until now, this is the latest one in 2025. Well, this Kawasaki Racing Team livery is the livery used by the Kawasaki racing team. in the WSBK championship, where the current riders are Axel Bassani and Alex Lowes. Let’s talk briefly about the livery. The color is Kawasaki’s signature green base color . The decal or livery is a combination of black, yellow, and white. It gives a more blocky, bolder impression. Compared to the previous model, it’s more abstract. Lots of black accents and robotic lines. This one is simpler yet more bold. Now let’s talk about the body. The front is the most noticeable design, with a significant change compared to the previous model. The lines are sharper and more rigid. The previous model was more rounded. So, what are the details? I’ll show you a closer look. Here’s the front end, which is more aggressive, with smaller lights. The previous model was larger, and this one is LED, full LED. So, by using full LED, the light area doesn’t need to be wide. There’s also the DRL lights up here. So, if you turn it on for the first time, they’ll light up. Then for the color section itself, we see this with a green base color. Then there is a combination of black, yellow, and white livery on both sides. Then above this there is a place for a license plate. which is only for Indonesia, because it follows the regulations in this country. In other countries, not all have license plates like this on the front. Then here there is a rearview mirror. which is one of the favorite mirrors. because many motorcyclists, maybe in the 250cc class or even 150cc, use ZX-10R model mirrors like this. Next to the windshield section. For the standard windshield from Kawasaki, it is clear. so it is transparent. and for this standard motorcycle windshield, it already includes a hump . Now, continuing to the details on the side of the lamp. Well, on the side of this lamp, there is a place to direct the wind. which functions as an aerodynamics of this motorbike. So, it’s like a winglet but it’s integrated. Because the model is like this, it’s not visible. On other motorcycles, for example, the Ducati Panigale, the winglets are really visible. Here, they’re hidden. Well, this is what the lights look like. If we look at the details, the lights are really cool. They have a kind of daymaker shape and there’s a small projector. In the middle , we see RAM AIR, or a place where air enters the combustion chamber. This is for a supersport motorcycle, especially since this is a superbike. A feature like this is mandatory because it also increases performance. Moving on to the bottom, this is the fender. Well, this fender is plain green with only the words Kawasaki Racing Team written on it. Now, let’s move on to the side body or the fairing. Well, for this fairing, it’s not too wide. Because there are gaps or holes here, they were deliberately made like this. Yes, maybe to make it easier to check the engine or release heat. Because this motorcycle also has a large 1000 cc engine. So it needs maximum air circulation. And because it has holes, so It can be seen here that the gap between the radiator and the engine block is a bit spaced. So it can even penetrate to the left side, it looks like a hole. But even though it’s perforated, it’s still 1000 cc. Then for the undercowl section, it’s like this. You can see. It’s more dominant in black. Yes, it’s painted black for the bottom. As for the top, it uses green. With a livery that combines black, yellow, and white. Here, the bottom has the word Kawasaki, while the top has the word ZX-10R. And above it here, there’s the word Ninja in its distinctive font. Next, the tank area. Well, for the tank, it’s like this. It’s really big, from the looks of it. And proportional for this motorbike. For the material of the tank itself, for this one, it uses iron. While in this part, it uses a plastic cover all the way down here. And for the color of the tank itself, it uses green with the words Kawasaki Racing Team. For the cover on this side, he uses green, here he uses black with a livery like this. Black, yellow, and also white. It even connects to the tank part too. And here there is a tank pad that is useful to protect the tank. Maybe from friction or to make our stomach more comfortable when attached here. Well, for the rear body, we can see like this. This body is not that wide. But if you look at it here, there is quite a protrusion that sticks out and here it is, if I look closely, there are two piles. So here and here are different again. The one here he uses black with stickers or livery in this color, yes, white and also yellow. While on this side, it is green and there is also a livery in white, black and also yellow. And like the one in front, here there is also a hole for air flow. It does not look as wide or big as on the Yamaha R1. This one is smaller . Well, for the back here, behind the seat, there is another black body like this. But if I feel it again, it turns out it connects all the way here. So, for example, if this is dismantled, the bottom body is this black part all the way to the back. Then it is stacked again with the green body here. Now, moving on to the taillights. If we look at the main taillights, they are very, very familiar. Because the design is the same as its younger siblings . Whether it’s the ZX-6R, ZX-25R, even the Ninja 250 FI version or its 2 cylinders. And if I’m not mistaken, this is also like this on the Z Sugomi . So the design of the taillights is quite universal. Then for the fenders, it’s like this. It’s a blunt model, so there’s no additional tapering down like this. Because most sport bikes are like this. Then for the turn signals themselves, well, these turn signals are LED. And the shape is like a Honda turn signal. The shape is like this. I don’t know if this is the same vendor or just a coincidence that the design is similar to a different vendor. Then here there is a place for the license plate light. But most likely, those of you who own this motorbike will definitely remove this. Then this one is replaced with a 3-in-1 light. Oh yes, I haven’t shown the front turn signal yet . The front turn signal is on the rearview mirror. That’s why what I said earlier is an interesting point that is used by motorcyclists to be applied to their sport bikes. Now, I forgot something. We will discuss the seat section. Well, for this seat, it’s common like most sport bikes. It uses a separate model like this. And if we look at the seat itself, it’s plain. This happens to have plastic. I just opened it a little. Well, it’s like this plain with a slightly rough leather texture. A little rough. So it’s not slippery. And for the contour of the foam, it’s like the contour of Kawasaki seats in general, especially the sport ones. It’s a little stiff, but it’s quite thick. So maybe if it’s used for a short time, it’s still okay. For long periods, especially touring, it’s not suitable. After all, this motorbike is also a superbike, where it looks down a lot. Not suitable for touring. But for a sport bike, it’s quite comfortable. Then the rear, well, here it is, the dimensions are smaller. So it can be said to be just a formality. Because I guarantee that those of you who ride behind this bike will feel less comfortable. Not only on the ZX-10R, on other supersport bikes too. Besides feeling uncomfortable, you will also feel jealous of the ride. Well, someone forgot about the fuel tank cap, which is also very universal. because I have seen it quite often on other Kawasaki bikes. The model is flat like this. Okay, let’s talk about the legs. Let’s start from the front first. From the suspension, it already uses an upside-down suspension. This is from Showa. Well, physically, we can see, this suspension is black. which is not visible from a distance, yes. The suspension is less exposed. But what’s more interesting is in this part. This has an additional tube in red and has Showa writing in white like this. And here it uses a 43 mm diameter, which is very large. Yes, it’s proportional to a 1000cc motorcycle like this. And it’s fully adjustable so it can be set even though it still uses manual, not electric. Moving on to the braking section. Here we see the brakes are semi-floating right and left disc brakes with a diameter of 330 mm. Then flanked by Brembo M50 monobloc calipers. So it’s radial like this. Then for the rims themselves, they use black with green trim. There’s a white “thousand” writing and they only have three spokes. So the design is like motorcycles from the 2000s and below. Not too many branches. For the tires themselves, they use a size of 120/70 ring 17. Well, the tires used on this motorcycle are Bridgestone tires, the type is Battlax Racing Street RS. So for the default, this is already very capable . Okay, for the rear legs, let’s see. Well, first of all, the suspension is not too visible because the body is quite covering it. Then the color is also black for the threaded part. and here it is a sleeping or horizontal model. And like the front one, it can be completely adjusted so it can be adjusted to our taste or needs. How comfortable or rigid do you want it to be. Okay, for the swingarm, it’s like this. So, in terms of dimensions, it’s really big. Yes, like on its younger sibling, the ZX-6R, it’s big. Only on the ZX-6R, as far as I remember, it’s big but without a hole. Meanwhile, on the ZX-10R, there is a hole in the middle. This happens to be covered by the exhaust, so it’s blocked. So maybe this is to reduce the load on the swingarm itself. What is certain is that it has been designed to remain strong. The color is matte black like this. So if it gets scratched, it’s very difficult to repair. Then for the hugger part, it’s quite small. Well, maybe just a small talk. because the dimensions are not too long. Very short. only maybe about 15 cm. If, for example, we pass through a fairly dirty road, especially a muddy one. What is certain is that there will be more splashes in it. Well, for the brakes themselves, the rear one uses a 220 mm diameter disc. Clamped by a single piston caliper. And this is not Brembo, this one uses Nissin. The color is also black like the color of the swing arm itself. And for the rims, it is also the same as the front, using black with a green sticker list and there is a white 1000 writing. And the tire size used is 190/55. So it is really big. My hand is like this. It doesn’t reach from end to end. So this is really wow, really wow. Now, maybe you are curious about what the left side looks like. I will show you a glimpse. Well, so this is what the left side looks like. Now, here you can really see the swing arm very clearly. So it is indeed big. But it has quite a lot of holes. Yes, to reduce the weight of the swing arm itself. Then for the gear and chain like this. Standard, the color is not really flashy or maybe interesting. Just standard like this. While we’re discussing the bottom, let’s take a look at the footrests. The front ones are like this. You can see, they’re pretty standard. They don’t have a really cool design. The stem is black. Then here, for protection, maybe a foot protector to prevent it from hitting the chain, it’s silver. Here, it’s also silver. The footrest here is also silver. And here, there’s rubber for more comfortable gear shifting. Now, here, there’s a spur, which, if I pull it like this, seems permanent. So it’s not using some kind of bolt thread. Then here’s the rear one. Well, for the stem, it’s black too with a design that I think is also very aggressive. Because the angles of the bend are very sharp. And here there’s a bolt. Which makes it very easy for us. For example, if we want to be a single rider, we don’t need a passenger. So, we just remove it here. And for the footrest, it’s like this. This is common, like most sport bikes, so there’s no rubber. Now, what makes me surprised is that the side stand has a small stem. Even though this motorbike is very large. Maybe this is adjusted to the design, yes, so that the side stand section does not interfere too much with the aesthetics. And also automatically if it is too big, it will be very disturbing when cornering . Especially for those of you who like to go to the circuit, right ? So, what is the right footrest section like? Well, for the right side, it looks like this. Yes, the shape is almost similar to the left, especially the rear one. Only the rear one has an additional here for the exhaust mount. And the front one here for the rider, on top of it, there is a mount for the brake fluid reservoir. Okay, now we will discuss the frame section. Well, here we see the frame is very large. Using a twin spar model. This uses this twin spark with a very large area. It is black and the material is aluminum. Completely exposed, yes, almost not covered by the body. Then this part here is the subframe or additional frame. This is completely aluminum or iron material. Not plastic like 150cc or 250cc motorbikes . So this is truly sturdy. Okay, now I will discuss the engine section. Well, this engine is definitely a 4-cylinder. 998 cc capacity. DOHC 16-valve liquid-cooled with a diameter x stroke of 76 x 55 mm. with a compression ratio of 13: 1. So this really has to use high octane fuel and of course good quality. Not mixed ones. And for the power itself, there are two performances. Which if we don’t use Ram Air, the power is 203 PS. While when Ram Air is active, it becomes 213 PS and that is achieved at 13,200 RPM. Well, for the torque itself, 114.9 Nm at 11,400 RPM. Yes, the RPM is high. It’s natural because this is a sport bike and it’s also overbore. We need peak torque at high RPM. And for the transmission, it already uses Kawasaki Quick Shifter. So when we accelerate, we don’t need to pull the clutch. and this transmission is already six-speed. Yes, why would it want five. Well, for the dimensions themselves, we can see that it’s really full. Maybe it looks like it’s empty here. But it’s still 1000cc, boss. Then here we see there’s a cap for filling the engine oil. So the placement is still very humane. It’s different with the throttle body. If we open the throttle body, we have to dismantle it. That’s why maintenance is more expensive. Because it’s more complicated. You have to dismantle the tank as well. For this part, let’s look at the exhaust. Well, this part here is quite large. But because this motorbike is also large in dimension, so it’s not really too big or anything. And the proportions are still okay, not too long. And the shape is also similar to its younger siblings, whether it’s the ZX-6R or the ZX-25R. But what’s definitely different is the hole here. Where the exhaust hole is bigger this way. If on the ZX-25R or ZX-6R, it’s not that big, maybe. Half or even less than half. Then below here is the catalytic converter. From here it’s not very visible. Maybe later from the left side we’ll try to show it. Then here is the cover. Where for this part and here are different materials, yes. The one here uses plastic, the one here uses plate. But the color is the same. It uses matte black with a rough texture. Okay, let’s show you the left side, okay? What does the engine look like? Well, the left side looks like this. You can see it. In my opinion, this is more hollow than the right side. because in this part there are still small spaces like this. Here you can see the exhaust neck part, it’s still more visible than before. Now, for the cooling system, it has two. It uses liquid and also uses oil. So here on top is the radiator for water and below here is the oil cooler. Then on this part, yes. Well, this is the catalytic converter. Compared to the one on the right, it’s less visible. Well, this is more visible. The size is not too big, just about this size. But here it’s empty. So it seems like something is missing, filling up the space here. But what is certain is that if you have this motorbike, you will most likely replace the exhaust with a full system. At least 3/4 is usually like that. Now we will discuss the cockpit section. Well, this is what the cockpit looks like. We will see what is here. First, what is clear is that we will definitely focus on the instrument panel. It has TFT. The shape reminds us of other Kawasaki motorbikes that have used TFT as well. So, the Z series, ZX series, and even the Versys, if I’m not mistaken, also have this model in terms of shape. But unfortunately, we can’t turn it on because this is a display motorbike. So it’s not installed yet. And here there are two buttons like this. to maybe adjust what is here later. Even without it, it can be operated via the button here. And at the top, there is a shift light. which is not available on its siblings. Yes, you could say this is a sign of its exclusivity. Oh yeah, one more thing I think is quite unfortunate. Because with the license plate here, it’s for the Kawasaki logo behind it, behind the windshield. It’s blocked. And this is the Kawasaki heavy industry logo. Okay, back to the cockpit. For the handlebars, this is definitely underyoke with a really slanted angle. This is guaranteed to be very sore if you’re not used to it, and you’ll quickly get tired of riding this motorbike. And for this part, the upper triangle is plain black like this. With the Kawasaki Heavy industry logo. Then here is the steering damper. So it’s already standard like this. And this steering damper already uses Ohlins. So I think for a standard motorbike, this is quite capable. Then here we look at the cover for the front suspension, there ‘s a place to set the preload. So like this. As I said earlier, this uses a manual, you have to use a regular mechanical key, not an electric one. Then here is a place for the key. This key has an immobilizer. Although it doesn’t have a magnetic cover. Yes, it’s embarrassing to use a magnetic cover. It’s not the same as a 150cc motorcycle. Then for the handlebars, yes. For the left side first. Well, for the hand grip, I think it’s also quite standard. Which is quite common to find on other Kawasaki motorcycles. Then for the path itself, it’s quite long like this. The color is black. Likewise with the clutch handle. This is also standard like this. And there is a small detail here, there is a bend. Which means if this motorcycle falls, the brake handle doesn’t break all at once. Or maybe it bends. So it breaks off here. Then for the buttons. Here there is a button on the index finger for the pass beam we press. Then to press up or push up. That’s for the high beam. Then for the buttons on Here again. Well, this is a button to adjust the menu, something like a mode. This motorbike has a riding mode, and the settings are definitely more than its siblings. So, it can be operated via the button here. Then here there’s a reset button and here there’s a button for cruise control. Even though it’s a motorsport, it’s equipped with cruise control. Usually, motorbikes that use cruise control are more suitable for touring bikes. But here it is. And one more thing, this instrument panel can be connected to a smartphone, through a feature called rideology. Then there’s the hazard light here, here there’s the turn signal, and the horn. The horn is very low. Now, for the right hand grip, the same model. The path is also the same. And for this button, there are only two, yes, the engine cut-off and starter buttons are in one. The model slides like this. I really like this. Then below here there’s a select button. Now, this is for adjusting the instrument panel. Now, for the master brake itself, it uses Brembo. But I don’t know what type I’m using. The same goes for the brake fluid reservoir . Well, for the features embedded in this motorbike, I’ve mentioned a little bit earlier. But maybe there are some that I haven’t mentioned yet. For example, for the economic riding mode. Then there’s the power mode. It’s full or low. Then there’s cruise control, then there’s Kawasaki engine brake control. Which is probably like the Assist and Slipper clutch feature. Then there’s KCMF or Kawasaki Cornering Management Function. Then there’s definitely Kawasaki traction control. Then there’s also ABS or what I call KIBS. Kawasaki Intelligence Antilock Braking System. Now, for the price, yes. Incidentally, I reviewed this in Malang. So, I ‘ll share the price in Malang. Well, the price is 584,400,000 Rupiah. So, yes, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the price, it’s very expensive. But if we look at its competitors, for example the Honda CBR 1000 Triple R or Yamaha R1, this price is about half the price of the motorbikes mentioned. So indeed that has become a plus point for Kawasaki, selling big bikes in Indonesia. because the line up is all still reasonably priced compared to the two brands mentioned. It’s natural that if we see on the streets most of the big bikes are from Kawasaki. and also the features are not inferior to others. Well, okay maybe that’s all my video review for the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition. Maybe if you are curious, especially those of you who live in East Java, especially Malang Raya. curious about the unit.
