旅行vlog)島根の定番観光スポットを巡る休日🚗出雲大社、出雲そば、道の駅、コナン空港✈️
This time, we will bring you the first day of our 2-night, 3-day trip to Tottori and Shimane✈️ . About 3 months ago, there was a summer sale on air tickets, and we wanted to travel to a prefecture that is convenient to get to by plane! We decided to go to Tottori and Shimane✌️ . Shimane can be reached from Tottori in about 2 hours by rental car. Let’s go then♪ . 📍Tottori Sand Dunes Conan Airport. It is the hometown of Gosho Aoyama, the author of Conan, and the airport is all about Conan🫣 . We went to pick up our suitcases. Then we went to rent the car we had reserved🚗 . The view of the Sea of Japan was amazing😆 . On the first day, we headed to Izumo Taisha Shrine in Shimane Prefecture❣️. 📍Roadside Station Hojo. After driving for about an hour, we took a break at the roadside station☕️ . We were greeted by the large watermelons that represent Tottori🍉 . 53.5 km😱 . There is also a watermelon crane game, and if you win, you can exchange it for local products. This is the main attraction of this roadside station💁🏻♀️. 📍Toridori Bakery sells Nebarikko Cheese Curry Bread . Nebarikko is a new variety of yam developed and cultivated by the Tottori Prefectural Horticultural Experiment Station. It is said to be sticky, dense, with little bitterness and a sweet and rich flavor❣️. I also bought a chunky curry with Tottori Wagyu beef🍛. Nebarikko Cheese Curry is said to sell out in a few minutes. The store opens at 9:00 and I arrived around 9:20, but the few people behind me had already sold out😳. So I’ll have breakfast right away. First, Nebarikko Cheese Curry Bread🍛. Let’s eat😏. It’s too stretchy and I can’t cut it😂. It’s more sticky than gooey, and it’s delicious😋. Next is the Tottori Wagyu Beef Curry Bread. ⁉️. Isn’t it too chunky⁉️. This is my first time to try such a luxurious curry bread, and I’m so excited🔥. So delicious😍. I’m so happy to be able to stuff my mouth full of diced Tottori Wagyu beef🫶. There was also a sticky potage. There were many tasting corners, which was fun😋. The gentle, warm taste was soothing🌿. The rice fields swaying in the wind were beautiful. After taking a break, we resumed driving. The roadside station called Hojo was very good, so I recommend it👍. 📍Izumo Soba Tanakaya. We had lunch at a soba restaurant right in front of Izumo Taisha Shrine. They were very considerate of the customers waiting in line, and they offered cold barley tea and parasols🥹. I waited about 10 minutes before entering the restaurant. The restaurant has a stylish and relaxing atmosphere, reminiscent of an old-fashioned house. I ordered the special 5-color warigo soba♪. There are five types: hot spring egg, grated yam, grated nameko mushroom, raw yuba, shrimp and vegetable tempura. It comes with a lot of condiments and looks delicious🥰. It seems that they only use domestic stone-ground buckwheat flour that is carefully selected depending on the season. Let’s eat✨. It is fragrant, flavorful and delicious🫣. Warigo soba is soba served in a round vermilion lacquerware called “warigo”, and is eaten by pouring condiments and soba sauce directly on it. I often eat soba on weekdays during the summer, so I thought it wouldn’t feel very special, but the aroma when I first put it in my mouth was different❣️. I’m not very sensitive to the difference in the taste of soba, but I knew this was different the moment I ate it❣️. Thank you for the meal😋. Finally, I warmed up with soba soup☺️. I walked through the shopping street in front of the main gate of Izumo Taisha Shrine🚶♀️🚶. The calm atmosphere is soothing🌿. There are a lot of local souvenirs and it’s fun♪. I was impressed by the thoughtfulness towards tourists , such as the free water service on the way🫶 . Izumo Taisha-mae Station is in the center of the shopping district, and one of the oldest trains in Japan is on display on the platform🚃. It seems that they also hold experience driving events. This train appeared a lot in the movie RAILWAYS , starring Kiichi Nakai, about a man who quits his job and returns to his hometown of Shimane Prefecture to become a driver for the Ichibata Electric Railway . I was able to look around freely without a ticket. The wind was strong and the train was swaying🫨. There was a shop at the ticket counter of the station, and I found Shimane’s soul food, bara bread🍞. ! I had seen it on a program on Kenmin Show, and it was really shaped like a petal, so I was excited🥰. After looking around the shopping district, I went into Izumo Taisha Shrine. It is famous as the god of matchmaking in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. Taisha High School, which made it to the top 8 of the Koshien last year, is also nearby. The grounds are lush and surrounded by a crisp atmosphere. The clear, refreshing air is refreshing🌿. Izumo City is said to be the birthplace of sake. There are many other shrines you can visit, and the Kagura Hall with its impressive large shimenawa rope was a highlight✨. Leaving Izumo Taisha behind, we headed to Shimane Winery🍷. We plan to post about what happened after next next week, so please look forward to it❣️. Thank you for watching until the end😊.
