腐るほどある時間を何に使えばいいですか? [Radio]
[Music] Tokimaru Tanaka’s minimal radio. Good morning everyone. It’s Tokimaru. Today is Wednesday, July 16th. It’s 6am . Today, I’m broadcasting from the White Box Studio in Tokyo. How are you all doing? It seems like a typhoon is coming, but it doesn’t seem to be that strong. Yes. Well, it seems like there are some places where it’s a bit windy , so be careful. I’ll be chatting away again today. This is a chat radio, so please listen to it while you’re working. Just a little announcement . I’ll be doing a live show on Sunday, July 20th, from 1pm to 1pm. Yes. I do a live stream once a month, and this time it’s Sunday midday, so please join us if you’re free. It’s like there’s no one around, or at a time when no one is watching, but on a Sunday afternoon, I think it’s really good, I think everyone wants to see it. I think it’s good. You don’t think it’s good yet? Well, I started doing live shows once a month, well, I started doing them this year. Since I started doing them, well, it’s been going on for quite a while. Anyway. And this Wednesday, every Wednesday radio show, I started in June, and it’s been a little over a month, maybe about two months? Yes. It’s been going on. Well, just continuing, or rather, continuing is the only thing I can do to get my way, well, I don’t have anything else to do. Well, well, I’ll continue doing it, hoping that I can be of some help to you all, well, if you can have a little fun, and make you laugh, laugh. So, I have one more announcement to make, I’m doing that membership individually, and well, in a related vein , I’ve launched a new business, something like a Tokimaru Tanka service . So, I’ve launched three separate services, one is consulting, one is yoga, and one is portrait photography. I’ll put them in the description, so please check them out . So, the main service I’m currently running is consulting. This is a one-on-one minimalism consulting for people who want to change their lifestyle or expression. Of course, it’s for people who want to reduce or get rid of things, but also for people who want to change their habits, change the way they work, or for people who want to simplify their communication and change something, so that they can focus on what they want to do. It’s a session where we work together to reach that state. So, I’ve been doing photography for a long time, and recently I’ve been writing articles , writing emails, and posting on YouTube, and I’ve also been doing podcasts, and I’ve been talking on YouTube like a radio show, and I’ve had a lot of know-how for about 15 years, and before that I was writing a blog, so I think I’ve been quite active on the Internet. So, I’m launching this service because I want to be able to communicate more deeply to people who want to do more outreach in the future. So , I’ve had a lot of voices saying things like, “I want to learn more about how to make a YouTube channel, how to edit videos, how to edit simple videos,” and that’s how I came to launch this service. So, since last year, I’ve been doing it little by little for the number of witnesses , or rather, for people who are really close to me, but this time I thought I’d try doing it openly and generally . However, my job is basically writing and disseminating this kind of information, so I don’t have much time, so I ‘m limiting it to this. I’m working as a store assistant, and I only have four people a month . It’s really just my wife and I, so it’s a small group. The deadline for July has already passed , and we’re still recruiting for August, so if you’re interested, please apply . It’s been a long time since I said that the era of the individual is coming, but I feel that it’s actually becoming more and more . The biggest factor is the trend of the AI era from the COVID-19 pandemic . So it started in 2020. So, my own reform also started around that time, and up until then I had more than 100 things , but then the Kona disaster hit, and I started to seriously reorganize my life between the mountains and the town, the mountains and the military base . Then, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, people couldn’t travel, so there was a time when people went into nature. I think that was the manifestation of the camping boom, and now, well, it ‘s died down, and I think there are a lot fewer people camping, but I’ve been in the mountains since then, and I’ve been in the mountains since before that. And from that time, I reduced my belongings to about 65 or 40 at one time , and really challenged the backpack style, the extreme style, since 2020. So it’s been about five years now. Then, AI technology came in all at once, and the chasm changed a little , yeah. The trend of working independently, living independently, and living as a freelancer without relying on a company has accelerated recently, so it’s become an era where it’s easy to work, and in that sense, it’s easy to go it alone . Until now, the Showa-era illusion of joining one company and working there forever, working as a part-time employee, has long since collapsed, so, while doing side jobs, you can enjoy doing what you want to do, and that’s the direction that I ‘ve been sending out on this channel, so as an extension of that, I’d like to talk to you a little bit about individual things, so yes, that’s how it goes. Well, let’s bring you this morning’s first broadcast. Miles Davis , so, yes . Well, you’ve heard it. It’s the first song from Miles Davis’ 1959 album Kind of. So, this is an album that I listened to a lot when I was in my twenties or twenties, and I think it’s probably the album I listened to the most. So, I recommend listening to jazz albums as a whole album . Well, the same goes for rock and hard rock. Ah, in the past , it was expressed on an album basis, but now it ‘s really just a song, or a moment-to-moment song, or just one phrase, but I think that albums can express the continuity, sequence, and wholeness of music, and even now , I feel good when I listen to Miles’ Cain Blue album on a regular basis . So, when I first got into jazz in my twenties , I came across this album, and I can’t remember which year it was, but I think it was when I was 23 years old. Yeah. I think it was 2009 or 2008. I listened to this album so much that it really wore me out, and it’s already morning when I listen to it . Anyway, I’d wake up in the morning, and at the time I had speakers so I’d play this at full volume, and then I’d start preparing my breakfast, and so on. That was my routine, so it was music that was essential to my morning routine . So even now when I listen to this, it reminds me of those mornings when I was young and in my training, when I was busy but thanks to this album I’m able to live a little more leisurely, and it’s an album that reminds me of those mornings. I think many people probably know about Miles, but he was a master of jazz. He was someone who tried out various musical styles , and he lived a life of trying until the day he died. He started with bebop, which was music before ’59, and jazz music then evolved into what became known as cool jazz, with the album Soatto, which marked a phase in which the jazz genre changed slightly. Then, in the ’70s, electric music and various jazz expressions that combined rock music and electronic music appeared, and Miles Davis was the driving force behind that. His electricity was also interesting, and I read a lot of Miles’ electricity. Please give it a listen. This is the corner for the scenery that Tokimaru Tanaka saw this week. This week, I was in Shinbu, Tokyo, and I met a boy who was catching bugs. It was a pretty urban area, on concrete asphalt in this heat. I was walking through the city when I saw two boys with nets, and they looked like they came out of a manga . They were both in a position to catch bugs. They were walking in shorts, wearing shorts and hats, and I felt like I was possessed by my past, like I was going back there, focusing on it. However, I wondered where they were catching bugs in this big city of Tokyo. That really worried me, and there weren’t many parks nearby. It was such a big city that there weren’t any. So I wonder if there are bugs I don’t know, or if they ‘re performing digital bugs, or if they’re cosplaying them in parks and playing Pokemon, or whatever. I had all sorts of ideas, but I wonder where they ‘ll go. Yeah. The mystery just deepens. And then, this week, well, well, I’ve had quite a lot of eating out, eating. And, it’s quite unusual, but it’s been about three days, so I went out drinking, and I drank a bit . And, well, my body, well, my rhythm was a bit off, and now I’m feeling a bit like I have a cold. Yeah. Um, I don’t know if my voice has changed a bit , but I have a bit of a strange feeling in the back of my throat, in the back of my nose, and I feel like it’s getting a bit worse. Yeah. I guess that ‘s what causes the rhythm to be off. Yeah. Well, of course, it’s fun to talk with friends, but I’ve been thinking lately about whether alcohol is really necessary, so I’d like to drink coffee or a non-alcoholic cafe, and do it during the day, or change to mountain climbing activities, hiking, or running . But, not everyone does that , so there are friends who only get together over alcohol. So, in terms of the theory of minimalism, I think that many of those people completely shut out everything. I think that many people who really practice minimalism are cutting off unnecessary relationships . But I’m doing it on a very reasonable basis, not reducing too much, not increasing too much. After all, it is very important to talk or converse with that person , and it has to do with loneliness and one’s own mentality, or how much information that person has, no matter how trivial it may be. Well, even if the information is overflowing in dictionaries or on the Internet, the information you get from one, two, or three real people is very hot. Yes. That hotness has a double meaning, and thick means that it has a bit of a hot feeling to it . I think it is important to meet people because you can get that kind of real information . Today’s Yoga Sutra corner. Well, this is a corner where I randomly open a page from the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali and think about something from each verse . Well, I’ll go here today. I’ll go around here . Bang. Yes. Well, page 112. Yes. Page 112. Wow. There are quite a lot of them. There are three in this. This is the first part, Samadhipa, that is, the meditation section. Well, meditation is the last part to be completed in yoga training. But in this sutra, it is written first. There is a rather strange story behind this, and in books like this, there is a practical section or an actual training section, and then the last part of the meditation section, which is what will happen if you do it, is written in order, but in this book, the meditation section is deliberately brought to the first part . There are various theories about this in the book, but it is said that by showing the final completed form at the very beginning, it has the effect of increasing motivation for the training . So, in other words, it starts off by saying that this is how you will become in this kind of world, or that you can aim for this kind of place, and then it goes on to say that in order to get there, you need to practice this kind of training, and so on . So this is the story of the final perfection. So , verse 36 in the sutra, uh, writes just one word. Or by concentrating on the inner state filled with eternal self-clothing. That’s it. It’s difficult. Yes. That’s all it says. Yes. Or by concentrating on the inner state filled with eternal self-clothing. So, there is probably a context to this. But for now , I’m going to skip that. So, the explanation of that verse 1 is, uh, keep in mind the glorious and divine light that transcends all fear and anxiety , the light of impermanence within you . Let it burn. Let’s imagine that there is a glorious and divine light that is already shining within your mind, representing your spiritual consciousness in your heart, or let’s imagine a beautiful and warming connection in your heart . Your mind will be absorbed into it and you will have a wonderful experience. One must start by imagining this light that will later become reality. Yes. That’s how it’s written. Yes. Well, you can kind of imagine it. A brilliant light that goes beyond fear, a divine light, is actually inside of you. And that it already exists in the first place. And that it really shines, and that it’s insanely hot, incandescent, incandescent, burning . And that it will allow you to have a wonderful experience . And one must start by imagining this light that will later become reality. Yes. So, you have to imagine that this exists, that it exists within yourself, and then you have to imagine that it exists , and then you have to improve yourself towards it, and you have to start with a certain premise that it really does exist, that’s how I imagined it . So, if we go a little further down to the everyday level, some people think that they can’t do yoga because their body is too stiff. And some people think that meditation doesn’t deepen their understanding. But there are also quite a few people who just do it. I think so. You can’t do it because it’s stiff. Yes. It’s a bit difficult because it’s stiff. You hesitate a bit. But you think that you can do it. Actually, there is already such a thing as a body. There is also a body, and you can actually deepen your meditation, and you can replace that with studying. So, it’s not that you think you can’t study , but that you can actually do it. You just haven’t done it. If you think from the beginning that there is a goal that you can do, then you can enter into that kind of process, and all you have to do is make it shine. Instead of giving up from the beginning, why don’t you think of it as something that exists, or if you put it in a casual way like that, I think you can say it in that way. Yes. Well , today I introduced it from page 112. That’s all. Well, Tokima Tanaka’s Morning Radio Minimal Radio is broadcast every Wednesday morning from 6am. So, at first, this started as an extension of that podcast, yeah. Before I knew it, I had gotten into a rhythm, and I’ve been doing this on YouTube for a long time. I’m also broadcasting a podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcast , and I’m thinking of updating it occasionally, so it’s really not regular . Yeah. I’m broadcasting whatever comes to mind as a backstage broadcast on YouTube , so please check that out too . This week’s letter corner is a corner where we read out letters sent to the show from everyone . Thank you for sending in so many letters this week. There were a few this week. We’re always looking for letters, so please send them in . Funny stories that you’ve had recently, stories that don’t slip up, love advice, minimalism practice, anything is fine. Please send them in from the description. From the radio name Suzu . Hello, Tokimaru-san. I’m trying the minimalism game that you taught me in the video the other day . It’s been a week since I started on July 1st, and I’m already finding it difficult to choose what to let go of. I don’t have as few possessions as Tokimaru-san , but I try not to have unnecessary things, so basically the things I have at home are: 1. Use every day 2. Use on weekends 3. Use once a month 4. Use by season If I use them by season, I think that they are all things that I use only for clear situations . Even if it’s something I’m using now , if I think about whether I can live without it, I think I can become a minimalist . I’ll keep that in mind as I continue my second round, so I ‘ll let you know my progress. Thank you. Suzu-san. Well, this is really on the mark. So, you wrote that you’ll probably become a minimalist, but aren’t you already quite a minimalist? It’s amazing that you’ve already thought about it that much, or that you’ve reduced it. Well, well , I try to keep in mind not to have unnecessary things, and then I think about what I use every day, what I use on the weekend, what I use once, what I use seasonally , and I keep only the things that make it clear . And when I think about it, I end up keeping things that I use anyway . So, what I’m writing next is that even if it’s something that I’m using now, if I think about whether I can live without it, I think I can become a minimalist . This perspective is really wonderful. But it’s certainly true . I think that if you become a minimalist to a certain extent, and then increase or reduce it, it will make your life inconvenient, it will be overwhelmingly inconvenient, or you will have some kind of feeling or attitude that allows you to accept that , and then you want to see how your life changes by reducing it . I think that people who want to see how their life changes by reducing it will probably be able to go beyond that, and I use things every day, so I try to limit the time period for those things. And I also think about the seasons. However, at first, the deadline was set to something that would be used within that year. And then the season comes into play, right? Yes. So the seasonal factor comes into play, so first of all, keep only the things that you will use within that year. In other words, throw away anything that you haven’t used for more than a year. This is a very simple criterion to use, and anyone can do it, and the hurdle is relatively low. Well, I think that the big things in the house, like mantis shrimp, that are stored in the garage and have not been used for more than a year , are the most representative, so I throw away those things first. I do this too, and narrowing down the deadline will ultimately reduce the source of that thing . Well, as Suzu-san wrote, if you use it every weekend, and if you use it once a month, then the phase of one year has already been shortened to a month. So, as a preliminary step, there is actually a six-month period. It should be something that you haven’t used in the last six months . Then, the seasons will shift a little bit. So, if you think about it for six months, for example, it’s July now, so you’d think about throwing away things that you haven’t used between January and July . But, well, January is included, well, there’s winter and summer, so well, it might not be related to the seasons , but anyway, let’s think about it in half a month, ah, six months. Then, it’s effective to think about it in three months, and throw away things that you haven’t used within three months. And, this actually becomes vague, so it’s really important to make a list. If you’re really strict, you can make a list and write down the fire you’ve used on it. Or you can sort out what you haven’t used, whether you’ve used it or not, right there. Then, it gradually narrows down, and you can get rid of things that you haven’t used within the next three months to the next month. And then, you can get rid of things that you haven’t used within the next week. So, uh, 3 days. And if you get rid of anything you haven’t used that day, you can become a true extreme style. And when that happens, you know, it’s a backpacker style . When it comes down to it, I think that’s when the nomad, the complete nomad extreme minimalist style is complete. Well, now, I ‘m not traveling that much, I only move about twice a month, but I’m trying to live with just what I can carry, so it ‘s a bit of a pseudo-lifestyle. So, I wonder if I could survive without the things I use now , and reducing the number of things means changing my own lifestyle. So, I think there are things that I use every day, on the weekends, and depending on the season , I need a fan, and I’m challenging myself to get rid of the fan and get by with just air conditioning. Or maybe you don’t even own a fan and move from one cool place to another. So you really need to fundamentally rethink your life and lifestyle, and I think you have the potential to change that. Minimalism is that. Yes. So really, well, broadly speaking, changing your life means changing your life. So , for those who really feel like their current life and lifestyle is kind of boring, well, just reducing the amount of stuff you own can really change your life. And when your life changes, so can your lifestyle. It’s life changing, and I feel like it ‘s driven me to this point . So, please do the second round and let me know how it goes. The minimalism game is quite difficult, is n’t it? For people who don’t have much to begin with, even in a week, it’s 1234, right ? So you’ll have to throw away quite a lot. You’ll probably have to throw away about 20 things . Yes. I think it’s quite difficult, but please let me know how it goes. Next, let’s go with this. Yes, from the woman who rebounded from plants. You ‘ve had it a few times, haven’t you? Hello, Tokimaru-san. Today, I would like to talk about the digital detox challenge I recently did called Only One, which was quite good . I thought I’d been doing minimalism to a certain extent until now . I’ve reduced my belongings to one suit by making my clothes into uniforms, but since I met Tokimaru-san, I’ve realized that I haven’t made any progress in minimalism, not in things but in actions . I had cleared out my belongings, but my head was cluttered with SNS, YouTube, and other things. So I thought up a digital detox game called Only One and decided to try it. In this game, the detox period is only one day . During that period, you have to narrow down the number of YouTube channels you can watch. In other words, it’s only one day only one YouTube channel . A proper digital detox like not watching YouTube for a week was too difficult for me, so I decided to only detox for one day. Moreover, I was allowed to watch as much of one channel as I wanted. This was pretty good. With only one channel, I gradually got bored and stopped watching, and as a result, I spent much less time on my smartphone. From now on, I’m going to try to play this Only One game regularly. Sorry for the long message . So, thank you. This is a great challenge . Yes, it’s hard to reduce the amount of stuff you own, but that’s something I always say, especially recently, it’s digital-related. If your head is full of things you can’t see, then it’s really overflowing and taking up your time . So, it’s quite unique. The detox period is only one day. And during that period, you have to narrow down the number of YouTube channels you can watch to just one , and I think it’s good that they lowered the bar. Well, it’s true that it’s quite difficult for someone who is addicted to something to suddenly detox for a week, so if you make it a one-day bar and watch just one YouTube channel, then narrowing down to just one channel seems to have some scientific effect. Because YouTube is now algorithm-based, the channels you’re watching are endlessly displayed. So, similar interesting things that you’re watching are displayed one after another, and the system makes you click on them, so limiting it to just one is like eliminating the YouTube algorithm, or escaping from it, letting go of it . So, it’s quite difficult to get through a day with just that , I’ve never done it . Yeah. I thought so after reading this. And the results you wrote were quite interesting, you gradually got bored with only one channel and stopped watching, and as a result, you spent less time looking at your phone. Yeah. So it’s not like you ‘re lucky that the relative number has decreased by reducing it to just one, but it ‘s wonderful that you’re experiencing the process yourself after that. By reducing it to one and watching it, you get bored with it because it’s only one, and as a result, you’ve reached the point where you stop looking at the screen, isn’t this already a success? No, this is amazing. So it ‘s probably probably original to a woman who has rebounded from a plant-based diet. Only one game. Yeah. Um, thank you for teaching me such a wonderful method . I’d like to put it away as a drawer of minimalism in my, uh , my task. In the task of my heart. Yeah. I’d like to put it away . Yeah, thank you for your letter this week. Well, I’ll be waiting for you next week too, so please feel free to apply. Now, this week’s comment reading Q&A corner. Yes. Well, so far, well, I’ll pick up everyone’s comments on the video this week. First, the comments from the last radio. Good luck, Tokime Tanaka-san. I’m a bassist in a rock band, active in my fifties, and I’ve been doing it for 15 years, so I’m glad that I overlap with Tokimaru-san. I used to do Ashtanga, but I have severe back pain and sometimes do it over my shoulders, so now I do Ashtanga occasionally, mainly bottle morning yoga and flag yoga. But foot taga yoga is good, isn’t it? It helps you understand the condition of your body well. It’s said that if you have problems with foot taga yoga, iron yoga can fix it. Well, let’s both be careful of our backs. I’m glad that we’ve been talking about yoga a lot recently, so thank you . Rock band bassist Viva Rock. No, you’re too cool, aren’t you? I’m an active rock pan bassist in my fifties. That’s amazing. That’s nice. So cool. And he’s been doing yoga for 15 years. No, we’re similar. Well, I ‘ve been talking about how I used to do music, and, well, in the most recent video, I ‘m doing the first take on my channel, but, well, I really want to play an instrument. And, I think I’ll probably do it in the future. At some point . So, I’d like to catch up with Viva Rock-senpai . Yo-san has been doing it for 15 years, so he’s probably doing it longer than me. I’ve been doing it for 7 years, um, 7 years, and then I’m in my third year now, so, well, 9 years in total. And Ashikawa-san has been doing it for 2 years, so, yeah. Yo-san has been doing it for 2 years out of 9 years in total, so he’s my senior, and he’s still active as a bassist in a rock band, which is so cool. It’s really true that people who do yoga are surprisingly fond of music. There are a lot of people who like rock. I think that ‘s probably because yoga and things like the hippie culture and surf culture of the 70s are quite related, and then there’s also the simple physical issue of being flexible and being able to use your body, which is a form of physical expression, so music isn’t just about your fingers. They ‘re people who really do physical expression, making sounds with their whole body, so they ‘re probably artists. So I think that’s probably where the link comes in. So my friends who do yoga also do that kind of music and surf . And the reason I started doing yoga in the first place was because the photographers I respect, the world’s top photographers, were doing it , and I somehow got into it, so I guess there’s a happiness in that. Well, let’s really take care of our backs and continue doing it . Thank you. Um, I don’t know if ChioChio pronounces it Chio . Um, thank you for the fist pump at the end of the radio show this week too. If you don’t mind, please tell me how Tokima brushes his teeth . I’m so worried about how Tokima brushes his teeth that I can only sleep six hours a day, so I’m not getting enough sleep. Yeah. Get some proper sleep . Well, I can’t sleep because I’m so worried. Yeah. Brushing my teeth. This might be the first time I’ve put my own tooth brushing into words, but I’m going to give it a try. Well, well, I think I said on the last radio show that I’m a professional toothbrusher, or rather, that I’ve never been praised for anything other than brushing my teeth in my life. So, my way of brushing teeth is that I think there are two types of toothbrushing. By two types, I mean that I think there are two aspects to toothbrushing, namely brushing and quenching. Brushing and cleaning, so I think there are two factors: massage and removing dirt . Elements. And, well, I do it in a complex way, but it’s easier to do it separately at first, so cleaning is removing dirt that’s on the blade, and, toothbrushes are structurally flat, aren’t they? So even if you put it parallel to your teeth like this , the dirt doesn’t come off at all. Especially in the gaps. So, I learned that toothbrushing is something that you use vertically, well, my vision taught me first. And , it’s not completely vertical, but the angle is changed slightly to match the blade , and then you make sure to brush the gap vertically and drop it all the way down . So, the trick to brushing your teeth is that I have a set order for brushing , and first I brush the outside of the back area on the top right. From the outside of the back area on the top right , I go all the way forward and brush the outside all the way. Then I reach the left. Once I get to the left, I move down. Then I go to the outside of the bottom. After I’ve brushed the outside of the bottom, I go forward and go to the back area. Once I get to the back area, I enter the inside of the back area on the bottom right. Then I start from the inside of the back area on the bottom right and brush all the way inside. Once I’ve brushed the inside, I reach the back area on the left. Once I reach the back area on the left, I move to the inside of the upper blade. Then, move to the inside of the upper blade, brush the inside all the way, and finish at the back of the upper right corner. This is the first time I’ve put my own brushing into words, and it’s kind of interesting. So, what I just said is the vertical type, so it ‘s in a cleaning state. So, in the cleaning state of properly removing dirt, the brushing stimulates and massages the area between the teeth and the gums , and improves the blood circulation there. And, after all, there are quite a lot of illnesses related to the gums and the ideology . There are also trace points due to illnesses, money, viruses, etc., so brushing between the gums and the teeth is what I call brushing , and it’s done by applying it horizontally in parallel, and doing that next. And, I combine the vertical and horizontal, so I’m at a high level. I do this for a first-class tooth brushing, but if you can’t do it, you separate it from brushing, and you do cleaning, and you brush sideways , and not too hard, at a 45° angle, between the teeth and gums , and brush in both directions. That improves the blood flow. If you’re bleeding, it’s probably because you have inflammation, but it ‘s okay if you bleed. Even if you bleed, you can keep brushing to a certain extent. And, especially for people who have had their wisdom teeth removed, the area where the wisdom teeth were removed becomes a scar, and dirt tends to accumulate between the skin and the blade, so it’s necessary to massage that area intensively . So this really depends on the person, and it depends on the shape of the teeth and how they grow, and I have bad teeth alignment , so I focus on the bad alignment and brush by changing the angle well . Yes. That’s how it goes, and then after that, it’s flossing. It’s a way of going all the way through the floss. You might be wondering what kind of video this is, but I ‘m not even a dentist, so… But, but, I get 100 points every time, and the host says, that’s enough, keep doing it . You’re already a toothbrushing expert. He didn’t say that , though. He’s praised me in that way. And, and, I don’t have any bugs at all, and I ‘ve never had any gum disease. Yeah. So, I think it’s a little bit true. Yeah. Please give it a try. I hope this helps you sleep. Chao has a lot of comments about deer. Right. China, Tokimaru, Tokimaru, Tanaka, yeah, hello. Thank you from the White Box studio. Well, in the morning, I had surgery under general anesthesia to treat my disabled son’s lower right tooth 8 and lower right tooth 7. Well, it took three hours, but he was able to go home without being hospitalized. Now that I’ve finally had some time to relax, I enjoyed Tokimarumura-san. Well, I’m tired, but I’m feeling better. Please continue to broadcast on the radio . Well, I hope I can meet Orihime-san someday. Well, thank you for your hard work. Well, your son’s, well, treatment. That must have been quite difficult . On top of extracting the tooth, well, you had to treat another tooth, and it was a full body operation. But, well, that’s the only way to do it. But , well, it took three hours for the team, and it was good that the team was able to do it on the day . Well, I’m sure it will be difficult to brush his teeth after the extraction, so please take good care of him there too. Well, from Nekozora-san, well, this nursing bed is the best. Maybe he’s introducing convenient gadgets that make it easier to get up and down . So, this was something like that. It was probably about elderly minimalists, wasn’t it? I’m sure. Even if it becomes a regular thing, it’s like he’s always been a minimalist, and he’s definitely been talking about how this nursing bed is the best. Maybe he’s been introducing videos like this one, where this bed is the most minimalist bed I’ve ever had. No, but I think there are actually some of those. From now on, Japan is already a super-aging society, with one in three people over 60 or 65 years old. So, I saw it briefly on the news recently , but now things like houses for the elderly are becoming popular. Apartments for the elderly are becoming popular, and so-called facilities where you can do everything in one place, or in other words, ordinary rental properties, but a world where you can do everything in one place is being created. So I think that kind of world war is really possible. Hello Hiro-san and Maru-san. I’m 33 years old. I’ve always enjoyed mountain climbing . I’ve changed my route to walking long distances while listening to Tokimaru Radio. Before I knew it , I had received the Bibo Bearhood Prima Train, and it was like a divine message. I also have a Hyperlite backpack and a Kodak 4 FZ45, so I feel like I can walk anywhere. Walking is great, so thank you. No, it’s really great. He changed his route to walking long distances. I talk for about an hour while listening to this radio. Yes. Even if I walk for about an hour , I feel like I’ve walked quite a bit. So, in terms of distance, I think I can probably walk about 56kg, or 7kg at most, so when that happens, I feel like I’ve walked quite a bit. So, I always say that Barefoot Shoes turn walking into entertainment, and that’s true, and the same goes for sandals, the Luna Sandals I introduced the other day are really good . In the summer, I only wear sandals, but it’s all Luna. Walking is really fun. And speaking of mountain climbing, walking or running is quite fun . I think that you can go into nature without actually climbing mountains. For example, when you walk or run in nature in a big park in Tokyo , there are times when you feel like you don’t need to go into the mountains. If you live in the city, there will be times when you feel like you need to go into the mountains , but if you do something else , like a long walk or running in nature. Recently, I’ve been able to feel like I’ve been in the mountains, even if it’s just in plain nature, even if I just run in a park in the city . Well, in terms of deep nature, I guess it’s better to be in the mountains. But you can get a sense of nature like in the mountains even in your everyday life. And, and I think that Barehood Sandals and Barehood Shoes ues are useful for that . Thank you for that good realization. In the Vlog from Ishigaki Island, Kirin said that when you arrive at the hotel, you put away the massage guide and remote control right away. That’s impressive. It’s thorough. That’s minimal. Yeah. I do it quite a bit too, but in the video for Kona Mata, I definitely left it out. Yeah. That’s the moment when my laziness comes out. I feel like throwing everything out of the hotel like the old rock stars did . I would actually throw everything out of the hotel window, like the TV. Yeah. Yeah . Like the rock stars in France or England. Well, you should never do that . It’s dangerous, though. Eh, from Watts Car. Eh, Y has been wearing Zero Shoes for a long time, but recently I changed to Luna Sandals. The world has changed . It’s good. It’s just different. I think the fit of the Luna Sandals is probably quite precisely calculated, with the thickness and hardness of the straps and the balance with the soul. Quite yeah. Big big hooded. Yeah. Bigfoot Ted is developing that, but I feel that the idea behind it is a little different from the Zero series. I’m using it now and the important parts are a little, I haven’t filled in the details yet, but I think it’s probably the texture of the material, the thickness and width of the strap, and things like that . It really will change the world. In the video about letting go of password management, uh, nice to meet you, Tokimuramaru. I listen to it every day. Just yesterday, my banana fell to the floor and was discovered. It shouldn’t have been hanging in the summer. Smile said that he learned something . No, that’s right. Bananas sell, and they fall. Stomps. Yeah. That’s really, it might not be good in the summer. Because it goes bad quickly. I put it in the refrigerator. This comment has nothing to do with the video . Uh, Nekosuke, uh, I’ve also done serious account decluttering for the first time. There were some places where it was easy to delete the account, but there were also some places where it was difficult, so it was a very tiring task. It was like a journey back through my history, so thank you to the account guy for your hard work. There is a real sense of accomplishment when you can delete it. And, just like Nekosu-san said, it’s really just all about the difficulty . How difficult this tournament is. The confusion of the tournament. This, well, my membership, Tokimaru Core, well, I talked a little about it, but with the members, how difficult the tournament is, you know, there is no tournament button in the first place, and even if you press the tournament button, the tournament doesn’t start right away, and in places where there is no tournament button, you have to make an inquiry , and it is only after the inquiry is received that it is finally deleted, and in the first place, the application can only be deleted with an app, a smartphone app, and how difficult it is to get an account, it’s easy to get in, but it’s difficult to get out. It ‘s a labyrinth. It’s like a labyrinth. Creating an account. So when you get in, when you register, you need to think about whether you need to register in the first place . So, if you can buy products as a guest without registering, I think it would be good to do so, so I think I’ll do it that way from now on. I thought I wouldn’t add more accounts. No, it was that hard. It really took me back through my history, like, “What is this? When did I register this?” I discovered something. Yeah. It’s really hard. Well, Delta Radio said that there is something called an anti-spy phone, so I looked into it a bit, and it seemed interesting. It says that the anti-spy phone can serve as about 32 accounts on one smartphone , and it doesn’t give any of your information to Google or other platforms. It’s a phone that can shut down and communicate, and there was actually a product called a spy phone . But, even with this, I wondered if it could be used for crime, or something like that. Yeah. It’s like increasing the security of the individual, and it’s also about preventing the leakage of one’s information , but it also means that anonymity is further increased, so in terms of providing cookies, tracking is not possible, so in other words, I thought that it could be misused . But, uh, in the video “Don’t seek perfection,” uh, Amasahie-san says, uh, there is no one the same as the whole, the individual, or even for a moment, one thing can have many sides , it can be multifaceted, Tokimaru-san and a bear. Yes. This is uh. It’s wonderful. It’s the whole, it’s an individual, it’s temporary, and it’s multifaceted. And Tokimaru Tanaka and a bear, this finally sums up the content of the video in one sentence. Yes. uh, Mr. K asked me if I’m looking for disciples, but uh, well, I’m not looking for actual disciples or assistants at the moment. Yes. However, well, I convey various essences through my membership at Tokimaru Core, and I also do individual consulting, so if you want to deepen your understanding , please contact me. Well, my training is quite strict . Yeah. It’s quite strict. Your friend created a GPT that suggests a 30-minute course of footsteps every day using the My GPTS function of ChatGPT . I also specified the condition that the GPTS would always say “chiochio” at the end of the sentence . I named this Tokimaru GPT and talk to it every day, so I think it’s amazing . It makes me say “chao chao”. This is, but it’s a great idea. It suggests a 30-minute yoga course. Yeah. And at the end it says “chao chao” . Do you need the last “chao chao”? I think just the yoga yoga suggestion would be enough. Well, but thank you for incorporating my essence. Well, Moose, I’m a farmer , and I feel like there’s a trend of slowly moving away from a world that seeks perfection . I feel like a negative to positive A approach, like aerobic farming, where you seek progress amid imperfection, is becoming more popular , so , well , thank you for the valuable information. Yes, well, it’s true that farmers may feel that way, but, well, I’ve also been doing some farming recently, on those fertile fields, and I’ve met other people in Nagano who are doing aerobic farming , and I do feel like that kind of approach is being taken. Yes. Yes. And, well, it’s about breaking away from mass production, mass commodity agriculture, and the idea of producing and making more and more , and harvesting only what you can as an individual, like micro-micro agriculture? I feel like that kind of culture or culture is popular. You know, aerobic agriculture. I hear about it a lot. You don’t need to use pesticides. You just leave it alone. You get by on natural resources. So in that sense, it’s certainly not about perfection , and it’s moving in the direction of imperfection, so maybe there’s something countercultural about mass production and mass consumption. In the video about the five things I gave up to make time, uh, from Tomo Meeting, uh, I’ve lived a life without alcohol or tobacco. Instead, I’m addicted to caffeine, so maybe I’m drinking too much Nescafe? I ‘m also a bit addicted to Nescafe, but I call myself addicted , but I’m not actually addicted. Performance-wise, I ‘ve decided to drink only once a day, no more than two cups, and it’s half, so I’ve been drinking half Nescafe recently, so I don’t really need to be half, and I want this to end soon, but I still have a little left over. But, well, but, well, what this friend meeting is saying is that maybe because I don’t have any connection with alcohol or cigarettes, I’m dependent on other things , and that’s what it feels like. After all, it’s quite common for people to have stars as a reaction. So when you quit one thing, you go in that direction. If you quit drinking, for example, smoking, you quit smoking, but on the other hand, you start craving sweets , so you start eating a lot of sweets, and you end up using other things as a reaction, so it’s better to avoid that. So, to avoid that, you have to avoid something bad and not jump on to other bad things, but after you avoid the bad things, you have to convert it into something a little better. For example, well, this is quite difficult, but if you quit smoking, you can redirect the irritation and stress you get from quitting smoking into exercise. Or you can do the opposite, like running or muscle training. So, if you can digest it reasonably well, you won’t become addicted to another bad thing, but still, it’s easier to substitute something that’s a little bad for your body or a stimulant, so, well, it’s almost always easy, so if you quit smoking, you ‘ll go for alcohol next time. If you quit drinking, you’ll go for cigarettes next time. If that happens, well, in the end, your health level will be gradually damaged. Well, it’s difficult, but I think it’s better to drink caffeine in moderation. Well, from Tori-san, I quit to build up my muscles, and I’ll work hard. I put in the SNS app for when I get on the train . What should I eat for dinner? Shopping for things. No , I’m stoic. Stoic. But, well, to build muscle, I have to be stoic. Yeah. That’s good. Well, but if I stopped all of that, my muscles would be amazing. So, I’d stop working hard, stop riding the train, stop using apps, stop choosing what I eat, and only take in protein. I’d stop shopping for things that I’m a little concerned about carbs and oil , and just focus on muscle. No, it’s amazing. My muscles would be amazing . No, but it’s important. That’s important. Concentration on one thing. It’s important to focus on one thing that you like . Yeah. The common sense of this age that says at least 8 hours is strange , isn’t it? I lose 9 to 10 hours every day traveling and preparing for happiness. I unconsciously let out the stress I had achieved , and the things I had been scattering away in order to continue to follow the trends and common sense of the time so that I wouldn’t become a foreign object and become anxious , remained out of reach forever, I didn’t get anything I really wanted, but my money was running out, and if I kept repeating that , I would run out of time, and I wanted to escape this rad race as soon as possible , I wanted to get away, so, Toki-san. Yes. Yes, it’s true, the common sense of 8 hours is really strange, and so is the retirement age, so we ‘ve been dragging along values that were created in Germany in the late 1800s, the late 19th century, since Bismarck’s time, and even in the 21st century. The 8-hour workday. And in the end, one of the causes of the world’s wealth continuing to increase is that we continue to seek growth without breaking it, and that’s the system called capitalism, and that’s what everyone really thinks. So in the end, we spend money, earn money to save money, earn money to save money, and nothing is left. I can’t get what I want. I don’t have time. I can’t get time. I want to get out of the rad race as soon as possible. Yes. That’s it. So I’m adopting this style to escape from it. And I think I’m escaping it well. Right now, yes. Well, that’s why, well, I think minimalism has a hint. How to get out of the rad race. Yes. It’s not about hitting the target, it’s about how to get out. Well, I also want to continue thinking about such things in the future . On this channel, I received this from Tsukanoma-san. Eh, and Maru-san, Hello. When you have time, you have more free time . As a university student, I have plenty of time, but I don’t know what to do with it. So, how do you spend the time you create, Tokimaru-san? That ‘s nice, that’s nice. That’s nice. You’re a university student with plenty of time. No, that university student is already like that. It’s already an adventure. Yes to an adventure. Let’s spend time on a summer romance. That’s yeah. Summer love. No, it doesn’t have to be summer. Well, you know, romance. Yeah. But I think there are things you can do regardless of being a student, because I do almost the same things as a student. Yeah. I watch movies, read my favorite books, do yoga, meditate, run, and sometimes write programming code or study. Yeah. And I don’t have time to hold a tent. I don’t have time to do things like filming YouTube videos, so I have tons of time, but I have so many things I want to do that every day is fun. Yeah. So I think this is probably a different vector. I’m a university student now, so I have time, but I don’t know what to do with it, so I have n’t found anything that I really enjoy or that I’m into. Yeah. I think it’s better to start by finding that, and well, you don’t have to find it, but anyway, I’d like to go on a trip, meet a lot of people , and do something deep in my heart , and also do things that I liked since I was a child, a little before college, without thinking about it . Yeah. I think if you think back to memories from when you were really young as a child, things you wanted to do , you’ll get a better idea of what you want to do . And even if you don’t have that, if you look in a direction close to that, you’ll definitely find what interests you and what you want to do. And then you have to think about who you want to be. It could be an idol, an artist, anyone, even a YouTuber, just think about someone you like and say you want to be just like them. So what should you do ? How do you get there? Think about things like that. And since I was only doing music in college, it took a lot of time. No matter how much I had, it was never enough. Yes. Of course I had tons of time when I was a student. But I also wanted to study, and I was always going to Indonesia for fieldwork, so I was always traveling overseas and making music. That’s how busy I was. I was busy. And I was also working part-time, thinking about working, and studying a little bit about management and business , so I hope Tsuka-san can use that extra time in a positive way. I’m rooting for you. Yes. Well, it’s almost time to end. Let’s start Wednesday soon . Thank you everyone for listening to the radio today. See you again on the next broadcast. Have a great Wednesday. Ciao ciao. [Music]

1pm to 1pm? is it a typo?
