古代ギリシアの哲学者へラクレイトスは、
変化こそが真理であると説いた。
平凡な日も、世界が一変するような日も、
一つとして同じ日は存在しない。
いつでも時は確かに流れ、世界は刻々と変わっている。
一人の人間の存在は、
川面に浮かぶ泡のように儚くとも、
日々の一喜一憂や、ささやかな行動が、
静かに未来を形作っていく。
出逢いと別れ、試練と共感。
雄大な景色に心打たれ、降りしきる雨に立ち尽くす。
私たちは、
周囲との関わりの中で生かされ、生きている。
そして私たちの心の火は、
千年以上灯り続ける「不滅の法灯」のように、
絶えることなく燃え続けている。

太鼓演奏家・作曲家・演出家
山部 泰嗣 Yamabe Taishi
1988年岡山県倉敷市に生まれ、父親の叩く太鼓と母親の弾くピアノを聴き育つ。
3歳から太鼓に親しみ6歳で初舞台に立つ。
2004年「東京国際和太鼓コンテスト 大太鼓部門」に出場し、16歳にして史上最年少で最優秀賞を受賞。 「50年に一度の逸材」と注目される。
独特のリズムセンス、卓越した技術力とバランス感覚を特徴とし、演奏者として唯一無二の存在感を放つ。
活動は太鼓界に留まることなく、五木ひろしや坂本冬美、KYARY PAMYU PAMYU、SPYAIRなど様々なアーティストとの競演も精力的に行っている。 世界30ヶ国500万人の観客を動員したFuerzabruta日本公演「WA!」に出演。約400回というロングラン公演で観客を魅了する。
2019年3月にアルバム「TAISHI」をリリース。
作曲や演奏活動の他、いやさかプロジェクト「和楽奏伝」「めばえいずる」「彼方より」などの演出を手がけるなど、演奏家としての幅を広げる。
2025年4月 東京国際フォーラムにて初の東京単独公演「パンタレイ」を開催。
太鼓を始めとする邦楽曲の作曲も手がけ、太鼓の新たなる可能性を追求し邦楽の素晴らしさを作品に残すと共に舞台演出も行う、太鼓奏者であり創作者の一人である。

Taiko performer, composer and director
Taishi Yamabe
Born in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture in 1988, he grew up listening to his father playing the taiko drums and his mother playing the piano.
He started playing taiko at the age of three and made his debut on stage at the age of six.
In 2004, he participated in the “Tokyo International Wadaiko Contest” in the large taiko category, and at the age of 16, he became the youngest person ever to win the top prize. He is known as a “once-in-50-years talent.”
He is characterized by his unique sense of rhythm, outstanding technical ability and sense of balance, and exudes a unique presence as a performer.

His activities are not limited to the world of taiko, and he has also performed energetically with various artists, including Itsuki Hiroshi, Sakamoto Fuyumi, KYARY PAMYU PAMYU, and SPYAIR.
He appeared in Fuerzabruta “WA!” Japan tour, which attracted 5 million spectators from 30 countries around the world.
He captivated audiences with his long-running performance of about 400 shows.
In March 2019, he released the album “TAISHI.”
In addition to composing and performing, he has expanded his horizons as a performer by directing Iyasaka Project’s concerts “Wagakousouden,” “Mebaeizuru,” and “Kanata Yori.”
In April 2025, he will hold his first solo Tokyo performance, “Panta Rhei,” at the Tokyo International Forum.
He is a taiko player and creator who also composes Japanese music, pursuing new possibilities for taiko and leaving the beauty of Japanese music in his works as well as directing for the stage.
