It really lives up to the name ‘The BREAKFAST HOTEL’ I wonder if they put a lot of effort into breakfast Really delicious They also have Blue Seal ice cream and more It’s truly all about Okinawa Thank but the breakfast here was incredibly delicious It’s not a location where you can see the ocean, but it’s close to Euglena Mall, so I highly recommend it I checked out my luggage for now, but I had it stored I would like to do some last-minute shopping at the nearby Euglena Mall before heading home It’s really hot today It’s really hot today too It’s super hot when it’s sunny It will probably exceed 20°C, but when I get home today, a cold wave will be hitting I think I’ll wear a jacket again, but I’m not wearing anything underneath I think it will probably be cold when I arrive in Fukuoka That’s right I want to feel this warm winter until today This is the shopping street in Ishigaki Island This is ‘Euglena Mall’ It is an arcade shopping street located at the southernmost tip of Japan I thought it was called a ‘mall’ for sure I thought it was a shopping mall, but it’s a shopping street Staying close to here is fun at night, and you can also come to buy souvenirs during the day It’s open quite late, I wonder if I can buy snacks here at the airport I would like to take a little look around to see if there are any unique items or miscellaneous goods that can only be found here I wonder if this will be good for Dad too I think I’ll go with the Ishigaki Shisa around here For now, I’ve finished shopping and taking a walk around here Finally, I would like to briefly reflect on my trip around Japan, including Okinawa Today, I will take a bus to the airport and head back to Fukuoka From Fukuoka, I plan to return by bus to Miyazaki I arrived in Okinawa on February 10th, and today is February 22nd, so it’s been 12 days I went to the main island of Okinawa, and then after about a week, I came to Ishigaki Island I already knew, but… I think I was able to travel in a different atmosphere than my previous destinations in both Okinawa and Ishigaki Island That includes both the temperature and the scenery I believe that traveling without a car became the main focus I think that was the most different aspect of my journey around Japan so far This time, I did the editing for YouTube without stopping halfway Every day, I truly enjoyed sightseeing while eating delicious food Honestly, I think I might have eaten too much In a nutshell, my impression is that I was able to end without regrets What impressed me the most about Okinawa this time was definitely the climate When I was told that the weather isn’t very good and that it’s surprisingly chilly when I was about to leave in February, I wasn’t sure how to prepare for it, but when I actually arrived, it was indeed warm I think coming to Okinawa during this season was a great decision I feel like there wasn’t much rain, so the weather was pretty good The beach looked beautiful, and on sunny days, it looked even more stunning I felt that I was able to experience a warmth that made me feel like summer, and coming to this season allowed me to further appreciate the beauty of Japan I might still have a bit of a hard time with Okinawan food after all I had some strange bad expectations, but it turned out to be nothing like that, and I enjoyed everything I’m not really good with pig’s feet to begin with, I didn’t eat ‘tebichi’, but it was delicious Since it’s tebichi, I think anyone who likes it would find it really tasty Everything was delicious Also, there are definitely a lot of ingredients from Okinawa There are quite a few additive-free ingredients as well, and I found many aspects related to food to be very interesting, which I thought was really stimulating I was able to enjoy special dishes, and I feel very satisfied I was able to travel around Okinawa Main Island by camper van I think I was able to cover everything from north to south If I get another chance, I would like to try the things I couldn’t eat I think I want to go eat when I come next time That’s right I also want to come and enjoy summer activities I learned that there’s a different kind of enjoyment in deliberately coming to the island during the cold season, so I thought that when I get older, I would like to visit in winter In Ishigaki Island, there are more bars and places to eat than I imagined, so I didn’t have any trouble finding places to go I think you can explore it fully in one day, or at most two days by car Above all, there’s something unprecedented about ‘Taketomi Island’ One of the most memorable aspects of this trip was being able to experience the sea and the tranquil atmosphere It was just a 12-day trip to Okinawa and Ishigaki Island, but I was able to travel to my heart’s content, making it a very satisfying journey So, this concludes my journey around Japan I originally started this journey with the goal of traveling for two years, and I’m happy to say that I was able to complete my trip safely within that time frame This is also thanks to everyone’s support Thank you very much Before I started, I thought it was something to be envious of I was thinking that I would like to try living like that I’ve been watching various YouTubers and different YouTube channels, While we’ve been expanding our dreams and imaginations, once we actually started, we realized there are many struggles that you can’t understand until you try it yourself, It’s not just about the joy of traveling; of course, there are also times when you feel tired I had to make plans and things like that There are actually difficulties like that in traveling, and I hadn’t fully imagined what it would be like to continue facing them for a long time I suddenly hit a wall and thought, ‘This is tough.’ In our case, we were also broadcasting on YouTube, While editing YouTube videos, it was really tough to shoot videos while incorporating sightseeing along the way I don’t think it was all good things, though We found a solution in our own way I feel really good now that I was able to complete my goal of traveling around Japan, even while taking part-time jobs along the way Originally, I had planned to continue traveling consistently while sharing my experiences on YouTube, but due to costs and physical and mental fatigue, that didn’t happen From the perspective of those watching, it might seem like just traveling and quitting your job is incredibly happy and fun, but it’s about finding a balance in those aspects Since I shifted, I’ve really been able to enjoy traveling from the heart I’ve cut back quite a bit, including my eating habits There was a time when I got a bit tired of living like that, where we would order one dish to share and then just buy a salad for dinner, so I started working part-time along the way In fact, during the first year, we didn’t meet any travelers at all because it was our own journey There were times when we felt like we wanted to move forward on our own Stop that and get a part-time job to interact with the locals Make friends with the people you meet there Those who are sharing on YouTube and Instagram Also, to the viewers who are watching on YouTube Actually meeting in person provided a lot of inspiration It was also a great change of pace there I really think it was wonderful to have so many encounters It took two years, and I realized many things in the latter half, which I think was really great There are really people watching from all over the country, and I feel like I’ve made some friends I feel that it was good to have done this trip around Japan because I was able to create an environment where I can say ‘I’m home’ no matter where I go Moreover, by choosing to travel by car, I was able to reach places that are different from those I would have gone to by plane or train, and I discovered many wonderful aspects of Japan there What I regret a little is Originally, I planned to carry my road bike and camping gear to engage more in outdoor activities I was thinking of something like one bicycle and one camping trip per prefecture, but that’s a different matter altogether I reconsidered and thought that I might go just for that purpose and enjoy it Since we started changing our approach halfway through I have truly eaten everything I wanted without regrets I think it’s great that I was able to definitely visit the places I wanted to go Above all, the reason we were able to continue our journey was because of the support from others I really feel like we’ve managed to get this far I’m very happy to hear from Mr Chōja that we are both seen as a loving couple and that we bring comfort to others, but of course, there are times when we clash I’m sure that if it were just the two of
