Hulic Fukuoka Building, an office building located between Meiji Dori and Shintencho, is currently being reborn as Hulic Square Fukuoka Tenjin, a large commercial complex with a luxury hotel at its core. The building concept is “THE GATE”. “GATE” will be formed as a new bustling hub suitable for the entrance to the Tenjin area. The lighting plan reveals the layering of three different uses: hotel, office, and commercial, creating an impressive landscape for the city. Additionally, “The Gate Hotel Fukuoka by HULIC” will occupy the 10th to 19th floors above ground.
The hotel, which is the first “The Gate Hotel” brand to open in Kyushu (and the sixth in Japan), has a hotel lobby on the top 19th floor, and a total of 171 rooms in six types on the 10th to 18th floors. Hulic Square Fukuoka Tenjin was certified by Tenjin BBB in October 2021 and was completed in December 2024. The hotel is scheduled to open on April 24, 2025.
