今回は森山直太朗さんの「愛し君へ」をソロでリリースしました。

さて、今回は森山直太朗さんの愛し君へをカバーしました。
2004年にリリースされたこの楽曲は、フジテレビ系月9ドラマ『愛し君へ』の主題歌として書き下ろされ、主演の菅野美穂さんと藤木直人さんの繊細なラブストーリーを彩りました。
静かで温かいメロディに乗せて、大切な人への深い愛情を優しく描いたこの曲は、多くの人の心に深く残っているのではないでしょうか。
歌詞の一つひとつに込められた想いを、今回はアルトサックスの音色に乗せて表現してみています。

This time, I did a solo sax cover of “Itoshi Kimie” by Naotaro Moriyama.

It’s that time of year — entrance ceremonies, new jobs, new beginnings.
I’m sure a lot of you are caught up in all the changes and busy routines.
It’s totally normal to feel a bit tired adjusting to a new environment. So don’t forget to take a little breather and give yourself a moment to relax every now and then 🌿
Now, about this song — “Itoshi Kimi e” was released in 2004 and was used as the theme song for the Japanese drama Itoshi Kimi e, starring Miho Kanno and Naohito Fujiki.
With its calm and warm melody, the song gently expresses deep love for someone special, and I think it’s stuck in a lot of people’s hearts over the years.
I tried to capture the emotion in every word of the lyrics through the sound of my alto sax.
While keeping the original’s soft, comforting vibe, I added my own breath and feel through the sax to give it a fresh touch.
Whether you watched the drama back then or are hearing this song for the first time, I hope you enjoy this version and let it bring you a moment of peace.
