    BABYMONSTER’s Breakout Success: The Album ‘DRIP’ That Conquered the World

    Since its debut, the K-Pop group BABYMONSTER formed by YG Entertainment has stolen the public’s attention. This time, they made history by releasing their first studio album titled “DRIP” which was released on November 1, 2024. This album immediately topped the international charts, including iTunes in more than 30 countries such as Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, the United States, and Canada.

      Congratulations BABYMONSTER! What makes BABYMONSTER unique is they have 7 ACES in the group! And don’t need a Leader so there’s no egos! And they are a bunch of Goofballs! They give us amazing music and performances! But they can also make us laugh! 🤘🙏🏻

      What's more interesting is that, before Blackpink, girl groups couldn't compete very well against guy groups. But, since then, we've seen a number of girl groups who are starting to. The only rookie groups ahead of Baby Monster are guy groups – with one more album release. K-pop is changing things.

      Babymonster is highly loved because not only are these girls extremely talented and aren't afraid to show off their amazing talents, but they're also a versatile group

      While most groups stick with one concept, Babymonster dives into many different concepts which is a great thing because if a person only loves a certain theme/concept, Babymonster will have a song with said theme/concept

      BabyMonster has the ability to attract a wide audience because there’s real diversity in their talents and personalities. No matter what you’re looking for in a group, there’s a good chance you’ll find a member or an aspect that speaks to you.

      A group like Meovv, on the other hand, feels more stuck in one direction. They don’t stand out for their skills, nor do they feel very accessible to the public. Mystery can work when there’s a strong aura or artistic identity behind it (like Blackpink), but if it’s based on nothing solid, it just creates distance from potential fans.

      I think BABYMONSTER is a really cool group. They're all very talented and seem to have a lot of potential. I'm excited to see what they do in the future. I think they have the potential to be one of the biggest girl groups in the world.

      Not gonna lie I underestimated them and I thought they were trying to hard but as I was watch gayo daejeon 2024 and waiting my faves to perform baby monster performance came up I thought I should give them a chance AND LORD!! The stage presence was there the vocals were amazing I was just speechless the songs I’m not into so much but I see potential if they switch producers 😮‍💨🤚🏾✨🔥

      If the vocals are good and pleasant to listen to, success will follow, because the key to an artist’s success is not their visuals. Visuals do not last forever—there will always be new competitors. The older ones will age, and the younger ones will rise.
      And BABYMONSTER has everything; all the members are talented in dancing, singing, rapping, and visuals. If the vocals are excellent, even as they grow older, they will still captivate hearts. BABYMONSTER has a bright future—I am confident of that.
