Shōgun is probably going to be one of the best adaptations of our time. FX delivered a well-structured and organized work of art that tells an impactful and engaging story in a very beautiful, cultural setting

This series is an intense political drama that follows Anjin (A European explorer) as he and his men find themselves marooned in a small Japanese fishing village on the other side of world. Unfortunately, this during the time of a serious conflict between Lord Toranaga and the council, as Toranaga contemplates taking the title of Shōgun.

Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada easily carry the show but there are stellar performances all around. There memorable characters and scenes in the amazing show that earns it all the awards it has accrued
